Riverview Motel

Whatever you don't call and ask for receipts the front desk gets very angry when a business that has employees going up there for work and don't turn in receipts! wont be booking here again. We have a lot of jobs in Riggins wouldn't recommend makes their customer service the last thing they worry about.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The single bed rooms are a great option as the room is the same size as the double bed rooms so they actually feel roomier.

Super nice actually.. I was only visiting someone who had a room.. but it's super nice

Hands down my favorite motel ever! Clean, friendly staff, and beautiful views of the river from your window (and balcony if you are on the second floor). We will stay in this place every time we pass through riggins! All the town is in walking distance, so you can park and walk to dinner. And you can walk right down to the river from the motel.

This review is mostly for Lori(sorry if i got the name wrong, but this is for the lady at the office and pretty much running this place!) She was the best and super accommodating. More than I would have expected, the rooms are clean and the location is great. But the lady(Lori) the new owners have managed to find to run this place, really made my stay. She left the ac on before we arrived and lent me supplies from her personal supply, you just dont see this kindness anymore. We're coming back next year and hoping to see Lori again!!

The 4 yo daughter and I stayed here on our way to northern Idaho. We had a late arrival time and the inn keeper was very accommodating.

Would definitely stay here again. The location can not get any better as there are steps conveniently leading to the river. Doesn't get any better than that! While the beds were comfortable & clean, the decor was a bit outdated but it serves its purpose. The staff was super friendly and welcoming & parking was convenient. No complaints. I do have one suggestion for management which is to add screen doors so that the outside flying critters don't make their way inside. I'm glad they posted a sign informing us to be aware of the flying bugs as when I spotted a few in our room

Wow! You need to stay here. The property is beautiful. Best of all every room has a river view. You can sit outside by the motel and enjoy the scenery, or take a short stroll down to the water's edge. The room has everything you need.

Loved this little hotel. Extremely sweet and personable staff. Loved the wildflowers on the path down to the river. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good value ... great view of the lower Salmon River. Will come and stay again!

We stayed here in June 2021. And the price was very reasonable. That was a great start. We went to visit the river and the path to the river is full of yellow wild flowers in bloom! Wow. On the way back I saw a mulberry tree by the stairs, and it is full of ripen mulberries. They are as sweet as sugarcane and the tree is full of them. Heaven on earth. We checked in with two sweetest managers and we were impressed to see our room. For the motel price our room was spic and span and our towels were as fluffy as a five star hotel. Very nice little motel. Spent 1 night after a long trip from Spokane , arrived after dark just needing a place to sleep, woke up to an amazing view of the river and wishing I could spend some time there fishing . Friendly owners , great grounds and easy access to the river via the stairs . I will be back.

What a fantastic find as we motored north on this amazing stretch of highway. Got a clean, spacious, nicely outfitted room with a balcony overlooking the river. Beautiful view/setting. At a very reasonable price. A few minutes' walk from the center of the very likable riverside town of Riggins.

$50 a night. Gorgeous view of the Salmon river (with easy access) and nice clerk who gave me tortillas (I'd been driving for 11 hours and didn't feel like driving another mile to the store). The rooms look like someone's basement rec room in the 80's, but who cares about the decor? The rooms are clean and spacious with microwaves and wifi. The bed was comfortable, the AC and shower worked well, and it was $50 a night, tax included.
