Services
You've signed the contract, paid the retainer fee and now have an awesome DJ company for your event. Now what? In the months leading up to your event, we'll send you reminder emails guiding your next steps. You'll receive an email directing you to our online Tools page, where you can fill out our planner, make music requests and make payments toward your event fee.
I always tell my brides to book Jay because he's not only an incredibly trustworthy guy, but he is a really great DJ! He keeps the cheesy element out of the day while also being super professional. Active Entertainment can keep any party hopping. They bring the party! Not only is Jay a great DJ, but he is truly a nice guy who cares about his clients and what's in their best interests.
This ensures that your day goes smoothly and we know your wishes. If you happen to not know some of the answers to the questions, don't worry about it! We can assist you with those answers during your final consultation. We love getting to know our clients before their events. That includes getting familiar with the songs and music you do or don't like.

We booked Active DJ for our daughter's wedding and it was wonderful! Martin delivered a night full of music that kept everyone on the dance floor. He played a great arrangement of songs my daughter and son-in-law picked out and included other music that matched well and kept the night rolling along. From the ceremony, the cocktail hour and the reception, everyone had a great time.

Martin from Active DJ Entertainment was absolutely amazing! He totally killed it and we couldn’t of been happier with the quality of music/service that was provided at our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception! Martin absolutely crushed it and the dance floor was always full! He had people of all ages dancing the night away! He was very responsive and very helpful with any questions we had. We had Active DJ for our 10/10/21 wedding and it was by far one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding! Martin did an amazing job learning ahead of time what we wanted for the reception and delivered that and some! Our guests of all ages were on the dance for the entire night. I truly could not say a bad thing about their services and would recommended Martin to everyone!

Craig Mann was our DJ for our wedding reception and was absolutely amazing. He kept the party going all night long and our guests loved him!!! We received so many compliments. Dancing was the most important part of our wedding. Full stop. Active Entertainment came highly recommended to us. We also really hyped the DJ to our guests before the wedding. So: we don't think we could have had higher expectations for a DJ going into the reception.
To say that Martin exceeded these nearly impossible expectations would be a colossal understatement. People crowded the dance floor the *entire* night. We have never seen so many people so disappointed to see the lights come up at the end of a wedding.

If you are getting married (or any other event) in the Wilmington area, do yourself a favor and HIRE Active Entertainment, specifically Martin! I could not have hand picked a better DJ to fit my wedding dreams and music style if I tried! He truly is easy (and fun!) to work with! We received SO MANY compliments on how fantastic our DJ was and I would recommend him 1000x times over!!

Martin from Active DJ made our wedding reception! We had an unusual wedding setup thanks to COVID-19 where we were married months before our reception. The reception was a little wonky because of this, but no one could tell because of how well Martin held it together. Meeting with him the week prior to the wedding was super helpful and we knew the event was in good hands. Weeks later and we were still having people tell us how good our DJ was. Martin was flexible, professional, and was truly great at mixing songs together. Would recommend Active DJ to everyone!
