The company charged me over $90 just to come out and look. Non-refundable (unless I hired them). Their estimate was over $1800 given only after they received my non-refundable quote/trip charge. I instead ordered the parts-around $500 and had a local handyman do the work for $70. He took less than 1 1/2 hours to do the work. Total all in costs less than $600= less than 1/3rd the price Broken Windows quoted (over $1800).Their quote was outrageous. They charged more for their quote than the handyman did for his entire job. In my opinion the company is a scam . I would have rated them zero stars if

Set up an appointment for window repair as I had gotten estimates for new windows. Was told the sills could be repaired. I contacted Robert at Broken Windows He came in a snow storm, looked at 1 window and declared it unrepairable, looked from a distance of 25 feet or more at second window and never even looked at third on side of house. Was not at all interested in repairing windows, only selling me new windows and told me it would be wood windows, when I said I had just replaced 1 window with vinyl. Was there for less than 5 minutes, demanded a $98.00 trip charge which I was forced to pay

They came out and looked at my job and then sent out 1 guy that couldn't do the job by himself. When I received the bill the hourly labor charges were exaggerated because the guy took so long because he couldn't do it by himself. I ended up getting someone to help but they didn't put that in consideration for their bill. Never received an estimate so you have no idea what you are getting yourself into. When I called about my bill the lady was yelling at me........

The people. That's Broken Windows. They are true pros. They are very committed to the job of making the customer happy. We had glass replaced in some of our vinyl replacement windows. Everything about the process was well-run. Although they're very busy, you'll find from sales through service -- pure excellence! Job very well done!!

Robert came out to my house to replace a broken window that my dog had completely shattered. I initially got a few quotes from companies in the area and found that Broken Windows had the best rate for my needs. Robert was very kind and even completed the job early. The first thing that should have been a red flag for doing business with this company was that they charge a fee to quote doing the work. The guy was at my house for 5 minutes and required a check for $55 before he left. I asked that the quoting fee be added to the total bill I would pay once the installation was complete. He stated that the company didn't allow that, unlike most all other companies which give free quotes.
After I received the quote, I emailed multiple times and left voice messages to schedule the work to begin. No one answered my messages. When they finally did respond
