Richard started his own construction business in 1985 in Maryland. In an effort to stay close to their families, Richard and his wife Tracey relocated the construction business to Beaver County, Pennsylvania in 1988 after the birth of their first child. In 1984, Richard and Tracey Chiappetta started Chip's Construction Corporation in Maryland.
With the remodeling business so far away from home, we decided to relocate back to Beaver Falls in 1988 and change the name to Richard Chiappetta Custom Building. With the knowledge of building custom decks, additions and new homes in the area, the opportunity to purchase Kitchen City in 1996 was a perfect fit.
