Mike is awesome! Highly recommended! Very knowledgeable, personable and professional. Along with giving you a very thorough report (including a bunch of videos and pictures) at the end of the inspection, he is open to answering questions during the entire inspection process. Post inspection he gave me a bunch of pointers on things that could be fixed, how they could be changed or fixed and what should be included in general yearly maintenance on our future home.

We had the best experience with Mike! He went above and beyond to explain everything in detail and help our real estate transactions go smoothly. Mike did a great job on the home inspection I hired him for. His work is extremely thorough, detailed, and very useful in making such a big purchase decision. Mike is very honest about the condition of the home and what he found during the inspection. It's also great that he gives you the option to tag along during his inspection. This gave me a better understanding of what he was looking for, why his findings were important, and it allowed me to have an upfront view of any areas of concern with the home. Mike was wonderful to work with! I will recommend him to anyone I know as a home inspector! The inspection process with him was educational, relaxing, and extremely detailed. He made sure to inspect even the smallest nooks and crannies of the house to provide as much information about the house as possible. The way he went through the information was understandable with my limited house knowledge, and he provided reasonable solutions to resolve issues that were discovered. He went out of his way to work around my limited timelines, and was very easy to get in contact with.

We recently sold our home and Mike was used by the buyers to perform the home inspection. When we arrived home after the inspection we found water in our basement on the floor directly under the 1st floor toilet. We then realized the toilet when flushed caused the water to run onto our basement floor. This obviously was done by the inspector since neither the buyer or realtor would have caused such damage. When I contacted Mike however he quickly directed that attention towards them.

We bought our house here in Wausau a little more than a year ago and decided to tighten it up with some additional insulation. We retained Home Insulation Co. www.homeinsulationcompany.com (who did an excellent job by the way) to conduct the insulation job and they in turn recommended Mike with Inspect it Right. Mike did a complete inspection and found enormous holes in the duct work that our buyer's inspector obviously missed before we bought the house. He did a complete energy audit which was very enlightening. We also have a comprehensive written report that will go with the house.

Mike did a great job with my home inspection. He was very thorough and detailed. My wife and I really appreicated his level of detail provided in his reports.
