Heritage Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinarian clinic that provides examinations, diagnostic services, dental care, surgical services, medicine, grooming and boarding services in Maple Grove, Minnesota. For many people, pets are like family members and we understand that it can be a scary and confusing time when trying to determine how to best help your pet in an emergency. During normal business hours, we are able to provide short or no-notice emergency services. If possible, please call ahead at 763-559-7387 to inform us of your expected arrival so that we can have appropriate staff and equipment ready to care for your pet.
Dr. Silverstein established Heritage Animal Hospital in April in 1991. He is a 1988 graduate of the University of Illinois College Of Veterinary Medicine and also holds a B.A. in biology from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. Professional affiliations include the AVMA, AAHA, AAFP, IAVPM, and MVMA.
Our Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) are the nurses of the pet world and work under the direct supervision of the veterinarians. To become a CVT, a person has to graduate from an accredited program, pass a national examination, and go to a minimum of 10 hours of continuing education courses every 2 years.

I love this place! The staff is so sweet and caring. I brought my dog Toby there for ear infection and they were so helpful and sweet to him (he gets super nervous at new places) He was a bit nervous when we… came in and couldn’t get him to sit still to get his weight but they were so nice to him and patient and they were able to get him to be calm and got his weight at the end. They were very gentle and helpful and gave great medical advice for his ear and skin issues. Toby really loved the staff also. I also had a follow up question and they responded instantly and were very helpful

They are so amazing. The veterinarians and vet techs there are so caring. I have to board my animal sometimes, and it makes me feel so much better that she's with the wonderful people she already knows. I've stopped in to buy RX food for my dog, and they ask how she is by name! I really feel that they care for my dog, and I trust them. It also helps that my dog loves all of them too.

Without a doubt. Dr. Silverstein is the most incredible vet I have ever met. He took care of my cat, Kiwi with such love and compassion. I can tell he loves his job and he truly has both you and your pets… interest at heart. I truly wish he had been around to say goodbye to my Kiwi yesterday. But the rest of the staff there was wonderful. I’ll miss going in and how excited they’d get to see my little baby. I truly recommend this vet to everyone. If you want to know your pet is in the best of hands- this is the place

If you’re looking for a loving and informative place of care, this is where your pet should be. The doctors, veterinarian technicians and groomers are fantastic!!! I’ve lived in several states from the south to east coast and now here in Maple Grove MN and I have no issues with the charges for any service from this facility. Consider this group for your pets needs. My 2 dogs will agree 👍😊
