One of the best ways to improve accessibility of events is to provide captions. While AI Technology has come a long way in the past few years, for live events, the best and most accurate way to generate closed captions is live stenographic captioning. Stenography is a trained, skilled, and certified profession for generating verbatim transcripts.
As an event professional, working with Talon Entertainment has made my event planning life easier. Tim and his team are always professional and make sure our event audio-visual needs are met and exceeded. Talon has provided A/V support for our conferences since 2015 and has traveled with us to unique, sometimes challenging, nontraditional venues, and also handled remote conference and teleconferencing for us. Talon also supports our smaller board of director meetings. Talon swoops in and handles everything A/V-related for us, including early prep for A/V logistics and room considerations, audience needs, on-the-fly trouble shooting and unique meeting challenges due to venues and available technology
