Services
We treat numerous conditions relating to the skin, hair and nails. We utilize the very latest advances in dermatology to provide our patients with the highest level of care and services available. Actinic keratoses are considered precancerous because they have the potential to become a type of skin cancer called squamous cell carcinoma.
Over 1 million people are diagnosed with non-melanoma skin cancer each year. These include basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. These cancers are less dangerous than melanoma and generally do not spread to other areas of the body. However, they are a concern and should be taken seriously.
We provide a wide range of non-surgical cosmetic dermatology services. Whether you'd like to remove unwanted hair with our advanced Alma "virtually pain free" laser, clear up acne, resurface your skin, get rid of spider veins, build or regain volume or smooth facial lines and wrinkles, our state-of-the-art tools and trained specialists can help you look and feel fantastic.
Most people only think of Botox as being used for cosmetic enhancement, but Botox (one of many trade names botulinum toxin) is also used extensively for non-cosmetic medical procedures as well. The protein can be used to treat lazy eye, uncontrolled blinking, excessive sweating, neuropathy as well as wrinkles, the furrow of the brow, and facial creases.
We understand the pain and frustration that teenagers and even adults who have Acne are experiencing. Fortunately there are multiple different treatment solutions for acne, from prescription acne medications to chemical peels or even acne surgery. We also have treatments for Acne scarring including specific skin care products, chemical peels, laser treatments and soft tissue fillers.

No one in this office necessarily did anything wrong, but no one really tried very hard to make me feel comfortable during my visit here. Nobody was very forthcoming with information when I asked questions and the staff wasn’t very friendly. I tried asking several people some very general questions regarding how insurance usually covers their basic appointments and no one would answer me. The front desk staff told me to ask one of the medical assistants and the medical assistant wouldn’t give me a straight answer either. At the end of my visit the front desk tried to collect a copay from me

Dr. Stone is absolutely amazing, my family has been seeing him for years! We refuse to go to anyone else because no one has his 40+ years of experience! He has taught his NP Melissa for years as well and we just love them! I especially love visiting Melissa for any cosmetic needs! For people who are concerned with costs call your insurance before your visit! His office is a specialty office and knowing how your insurance processes dermatology visits will help you understand what you may owe! Dr Stone and Melissa are worth it!

I just visited them today! And I was SO NERVOUS! Went in for suspicious moles and had two removed for testing.
Rachel is a very nice receptionist! :) I was more than 10 mins late to my 9:50am appointment (I showed up at 10:10) due to some unexpected traffic! I called to let them know and they still were able to work with me! I did however wait about 30 mins before being seen and due to me being so nervous about being there in the first place it made it seem like forever, but as soon as he came in, he had amazing bedside manner and instantly made me feel relieved! I am still awaiting results on

I had a very positive experience at the office and with Dr. Stone but I feel that they are very dishonest about their billing and fees.
I was told by Dr. Stone that if I had to come back after my mole removal then they would not charge for the second visit. I was called back, but was billed for the second visit. I called about the discrepancy and they said they would remove the charge, but I received a bill a month later still billing me for the second charge. If nothing else, this is very disorganized.
For a single mole removal I was charged $846.00. Maybe this is just a reflection of the corrupt

First things first, yes I have the same name as Dr. Stone I am not related to him Richard stone is a common name. That being said Dr. Stone has always treated me fairly and is an exceptional doctor. I have rated other physicians and the one stars with people complaining about cost, Waiting times, route staff, and high prices probably complain about everything.

BEWARE OF HIDDEN COSTS AND LACK OF TRANSPARENCY. I had been a patient for almost a year seeing Dr. Stone for acne. Dr. Stone is very knowledgeable and the office staff has been very friendly, but here is my largest problem. Dr. Stone will perform services on you without discussing costs, letting you know what he's doing, or even asking if you want them done. Then one day you will receive a bill from his office and you will be expected to pay it. I called their billing department and they just said that Dr. Stone does what he thinks is appropriate, but they can put it on my chart if they want him

In regards to hidden fees:
This office does procedures that are not covered by insurance (like removing precancerous moles), does not wait to do a prior authorization or make sure you understand what you are about to have to pay for and then leaves you with the $100+ charge for each mole removed. My insurance came back and said that what they performed was not under my coverage.
If I could do 0 stars I would.

I have been seeing Dr. Stone for the past 20+ years for acne. He has made my life so much better and my skin looks amazing. I have never had an issue with bills being outrageous or being offered things I didn't specifically go in for. I've also had some other minor things taken care of like moles and the such, but he's always listened to me and addressed my problems professionally. Dr. Stone explains things in a way that I can understand instead of in doctor speak and I've never been displeased with the service I've received from him or his staff. I recommend him all the time to people who ask

DO NOT go to Stone Dermatology! Dr. Stone is a nice guy but he is so expensive and his office manager Valerie is horrible! My went in late November 2015 for some scar reduction (that was offered free of charge) and since another service was spoken about he charged her for injections and for the office visit. I called December 8th after I was informed of this by my insurance company thru email and my EOB (Stone's office didn't have the info yet) and called and spoke to the billing department. It was heated with Valerie the Office Manager! I received a bill (the only one) dated 1/6/16

Although the medical care seem adequate, the charges were unbelievable. My family doctor removed and tested a mole for $600 less than Dr Stones PA. The entire appointment was less than 20 minutes and my bill was over $800. I had unrelated surgery a month later and my surgeon charged less for surgery and 3 months of follow-up visits than Dr Stone for my short one-time appointment. A few years ago i had the same experience with them except he quoted me one price and charged me over $2,000 more. Bottom line if your insurance will pay it all then hes okay but if not then take out a 2nd mortgage before
