Overall job: The job wasn't cheap; the siding repair ballooned beyond my original expectations (because of water damages) but they were professional and transparent and responsive. They didn't pressure me into any work and informed me of the risks (e.g. if they uncover any rot, they won't just cover it up for liability reasons). I trusted their quality of work.

We hired SFW to replace a damaged back-door - which turned into building out a whole new back wall due to the discovery of water damage and poor craftsmanship from the original builders. Everyone was professional, communicative, educational, and worked hard to help us save money throughout the process. I was also very impressed with how clean the left the job site at the end of every work day. Looking forward to having them come out next summer to rebuild our rotting front porch.

Lead paint removal! They are the best around! Mike D. came out to check my house, he was on time and came on the day he said he would. He measured everything out, and really talked me through it all. I told him that I had a certain amount of money that we could spend this first time around, and he did the math right there, planned out the first go, and told me that I shouldn't worry, that they will make sure it's right there.
I ran into some issues with getting the keys to our new house, but Mike D. assured me that when we were good to go, they were good, and kept me on the schedule but just moved

I had SFW fix leaky and rotten window trim in my house (built in 2007) that turned into replacing siding, trim and re-setting windows. I was impressed by the knowledgeability, dedication to their trade and quality craftsmanship. The crew did amazing work and kept me updated on the progress throughout the repair. Communication with SFW's office was clear and concise. Be aware they are not cheap, but you are definitely getting your $$ worth when hiring SFW and I can rest assured that the job was done right.

About the worst news you can receive as a homeowner is that you have failed siding that needs replacing, because it's not just the siding, it's what is underneath that has to be addressed. Two side of our house needed siding replaced due to construction flaws and water intrusion.
We chose SFW Construction based on their Angies List recommendations. The workers were very skilled, they knew exactly what they needed to do, explained everything to us every step of the way.
This is painful work for a homeowner: it is slow, noisy, invasive, and very very expensive. It took over three weeks

WHAT SFW CONSTRUCTION DID WELL
SFW came out, evaluated and fixed the problem. I am relatively confident the work they did will prevent the window from leaking again.
The crew that came onsite was friendly and professional. They were conscious about cleanliness and pets as well. They cleaned the job site well after job completion.

I had two decks built on my home by SFW Construction. Bryan and Alex and their team were top notch! They were kind, knowledgeable, speedy, polite, professional and clean. I had a great experience with SFW, they sided my 5000sq ft house on a steep hill that many other companies said they didn't have the equipment to complete. I was on a time crunch to get it done before the rain hit and the crew worked diligently to complete my difficult task! They kept me in the loop the entire time and finished before the rain came. I appreciated the hard work of everyone and the end result more! The house looks great! You get what you pay for and SWF really pulled through for us. The inside gals were great to and very pleasant to speak with.

Couldn't have been more impressed with the team at SFW. From my initial call with Christian, to meeting Jeff Harrington on site for the inspection. I was in competent and extremely capable hands. Jeff pointed out things and brought so much to the table during our project, that we hadn't previously seen or been privileged to work with before.

Once the start date was set up, the crew (Eric, Juan and Eli) got right to it and patiently fielded my questions (as well as my request to be alert that I have a cat and to please be aware and keep doors and windows closed). During the job, they would call out other small things that could use attention that they could take care of if I wanted them to.
They were thorough and unobtrusive (as much as you can be), friendly and communicative.
