Belltown Design
With a comprehensive background in fine arts and interior design, Paula brings an imaginative and collaborative spirit to every project. Comfortable working in a variety of styles, her design sense naturally develops from her client's personal story, and the emotions it evokes. She does not shy away from taking risks or digging deeper and is energized by the challenge of achieving great results.

Paula's loves color and the effect that light has on it. She blends classic design elements, mixing them with the new materials, finishes, colors, and textures. In turning the ordinary into 'gold', her interior spaces both function as required, while looking good and feeling fantastic!. Robbie's skilled eye for detail is founded in decades of product design.
Services
Whether bold or muted, color is one of our primary building blocks and is fundamental to our design process. For more information and photos on this service, have a look here. Both functional and stylish, we look for opportunities to use the natural light. That said, our most used advice is reading lights in every room and everything on dimmers!.
Whether you have lived in your Seattle home for years, just purchased a new one, or are renting here for the first time, you have already discovered that both light and space are at a premium in this beautiful city. We use the three fundamental elements of design - light, color, and space planning - to create an atmosphere that helps you make the most of our limited sunshine.
We had a great experience with Belltown Design over the course of our recent remodel. Paula worked with us to turn our basement into a fun and colorful family room. Additionally, she helped us with some additional design improvements to our kitchen and living room. These projects included flooring choices, lighting, paint, furniture, closets, wall art, and more.

We hired Belltown Design LLC to provide us an exterior design that would give our 1960’s apartment complex a unique, standout identity, with so many similar style apartments and condominiums in the neighborhood. With a nod to the era in which it was built, Belltown Design created a Modernist concept, containing elements of a Japanese / Craftsman aesthetic, well suited for the property.
The project scope of work included a Modernist concept with full renderings, and specifications for Mansard roofing, wood shutters, siding, paint colors and products. It also included making selections for exterior

Over the course of this past year I have had the pleasure and privilege of working with Belltown Design. I have a business creating custom soft goods such as slipcovers, throw pillows, cushions, etc and she brought me in on a home renovation project in West Seattle. Paula's design talents are spot on and her ability to communicate her vision was wonderful. From a fabricator's point of view, I knew exactly what she wanted. There was no confusion or mystery. Her ideas are fresh and fun and I would not hesitate to work with her again!

Belltown design did a great job and our "new" condo looks great. Paula is extremely knowledgeable and guided us through every step of the process. The project included new flooring, paint and furnishings. Paula knew all the best places to shop. She and her associates were incredibly generous with their time, frequently going shopping with us to help make the best selections. Her style and color recommendations were perfect. And I can't review Belltown's performance without mentioning how patient she was while we sometimes waffled over the array of choices that were presented to us. I can't recommend
