William H. Truax III D.M.D. (Dr Billy) is a third generation Dentist and was born and raised in Fort Myers, FL. He studied at the University of South Florida and obtained this degree in Biomedical Sciences and minored in Biomedical Physics. Dr. Billy then attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
I have always been afraid of the dentist but since coming to Dr. Terracina's office, I am now happy. The entire staff is wonderful! My wife Laura and I have been coming to Dr. Terracina for several years now. We both love Dr. Terracina and all his staff. Laura has a small fear of dentists but Dr. Terracina is very attentive and puts her at ease.

I am not one who likes going to the dentist and have actually taken a Xanax in the past for my exams, but my first appointment at Dr. Truax's office was not just good, but exceptional! It started with them helping me get my old records, to enjoying the photos of old Fort Myers and their patriotic sign in their waiting area! Then Dawn brought me in and she was not only personable, but she is so gentle. I have tooth sensitivity and she uses techniques that really helped me with that. Hands down the best dentist I have ever been to. I have always had bad teeth and a lifelong mortal fear of dentists but Dr Billy always makes me feel at ease. He removed all my top teeth and created my denture and I could not be happier with both the experience and the final product. He has literally changed my life. 10/10

My entire family goes here and they are all treated like family. The dentist hears our concerns and keeps us involved in the decision making process. My children requested to see Dr Billy over any of the pediatric practices in town because they love him! Staff is courteous and really work to fit us in the schedule when life gets crazy. I agree 100% with the other review. Dr. Truax and the entire staff here is on another level. I'm pretty sure this is like a family legacy business and they probably have always been this way but it's just something you don't find anymore. They do everything right and are actually sincere which is rare. From the quality of work they do to the "bedside" manner and then add the fact that they also give so much back with their Project Dental Care it makes me wish I was born into this family. As for me and my family, We ❤️ Dr. Billy Truax and his staff!!! We drive over 45 minutes to just to see them! The office is clean and professional. Everyone is so down to earth and they make you feel like family every visit. Having kids of his own, he knows just how to be patient and understanding to their needs and making them feel at ease. My kids love going to the dentist now because of that quality! Dr. Billy and his office truly care about your dental heath and comfort from beginning to end.
