Services
Bristol Steel was founded in 1979 as a Light Rigging and Light Structural Fabricating Company, by Mr. Raymond Oliver our current Chairman. By 1981 we began pursuing larger and more complex Erection Projects and shortly after in 1982, founded Bristol Erectors.
Throughout the years times have changed and our challenges have grown, but we have consistently chosen controlled growth plans mirroring the needs of our current customers while allowing the flexibility to accommodate opportunities in new markets.

All Project Managers, regardless of experience level have been trained to ensure compliance with our new system. Additionally, all Shop and Field Supervisory Personnel are receiving training as new projects are started to ensure their portion of the system is maintained throughout the life of the project.
Bristol Manufacturing was started in 1982 as a division of Bristol Steel, and was tasked with the re-manufacturing of high capacity rigger forklifts and fabrication of heavy machinery mover carts. Due to the unavailability of such equipment, other companies started renting and buying this equipment, thus a new business was formed.
We have been rewarded in this belief with a safety record that is unparalleled within the industry. To achieve reductions in recordable injuries we have implemented several programs that are now being duplicated industry wide. Thinking outside of the norm when it comes to Fall Protection led Bristol to develop a program that identifies and mitigates risk well before the first Ironworker arrives on site.
