Welcome to Noe Funeral Service located in the beautiful and historic town of Beaufort, NC. I, Chris Noe, have been a National Board Certified and State Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 2004. Having worked for other funeral homes, it was always my dream to bring a funeral home back to my hometown of Beaufort where the Noes have lived since 1842.
That dream was realized in 2013 and as of 2019, Noe Funeral Service is the only fully family owned and managed funeral home in Carteret County. Like most local "mom and pop" businesses, we started small and continue to grow thanks to the community embracing us. My staff and I are dedicated to offering the highest quality funeral services at an affordable cost and above all else, follow the motto "Here to Serve".

Services
If you are considering cremation, it is important to know several different options are available which often help bridge the gap between long held traditions and current ideology. A licensed funeral director will meet with you at our funeral home, or in the comfort of your home, depending on the family's needs and location.
If you currently have a pre-arranged funeral plan with another funeral provider and would like to transfer it to Noe, Funeral Service, Inc., this may be done at the time of death. Any surplus difference between what is in the pre-need account and the cost of the services will be refunded. You will never be asked to pay any additional cost for the same arrangement and all merchandise selected on the pre-arrangement will be honored.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).
A United States flag is provided, at no cost, to drape the casket or accompany the urn of a deceased veteran who served honorably in the U. S. Armed Forces. It is furnished to honor the memory of a veteran's military service to his or her country. Generally, the flag is given to the next-of-kin, as a keepsake, after its use during the funeral service.
