Vernon HomeTown Pharmacy was formed when McShane Drug Co., formerly located at 1319 South Landrum, and Mt. Vernon Professional Pharmacy, formerly located at 104 East Mt. Vernon Boulevard, combined under one roof at 606 East Mt. Vernon Boulevard. Mt. Vernon Professional Pharmacy, Davin and Gail's first pharmacy, was originated and opened in 1997. Today, Mt. Vernon HomeTown Pharmacy, at its existing location, offers more services and better parking as well as easier access for all patients.

Absolutely horrible. Looses prescriptions. Can’t work their system. System crashes frequently.
I’ve waited over an hour for my prescription that was called in hours earlier. Just frustrating all around. If you are in the area I strongly suggest transferring your prescriptions to Solon. Even with the drive it’ll save you time. Nothing to recommend

Hometown was so helpful when the medication we needed was over $100 more at Walmart! They graciously helped and had a smile even though they were so busy and it was almost closing time!! Thank You!

Spend a ton of money. Go to there customer appreciation day and only get one hot dog
They turned us down for a second one. How stupid are they. They just lost a mount Vernon resident as a customer. .

This pharmacy changed the dosage and directions of a prescription sent by an oncologist without checking or verifying with the doctor. I won't be going back for a prescription.
