Haak Vineyards & Winery

First time back to Haaks in some time. Very impressed with the renovations. I liked the idea of expanding the original welcome area into two connected rooms each with a bar and big screen TVs. The overall look is very upscale and now they have two separate areas to hold events. Plus having the garage type doors as walls will allow that area to be opened in the summer (like the previous configuration). Looking forward to going back soon.

It's funny looking at reviews because you are either for or against! I am for this place with the incredible views.

What was the best part?
Totally exploring the vineyards with my pup! My pup and I got to stay here for harvest hosts and are grateful for the experience.

What could use improvement?
Service for sure.... I know they had a club night tonight but I couldn't get anyone to help me outside without having to go out of my way and stop them. Clientele here is pretty ritzy!

Overall, it was totally worth the visit. If you're looking for a vineyard with good wine and a place

Came here for date day with the wife and we soooooo enjoyed ourselves! Underrated spot outside of Houston ( not in Fredericksburg) where you can get away and learn a bit at the same time! Go and you won't be disappointed!

All of the food was amazing. We had a couples night out and the only bummer was the loud guitar playing and a few gnats flying around. Nice place with great wine.

Definitely an awesome experience! The tour was awesome and an amazing birthday present. From all the stuff we learned from Mrs. Robin, to the supurb wine... we had such a great time....We will definitely be coming back!

Wow! They have revamped the entire inside of this winery...it looks soo good.

They have a bistro, an auto-pour wine dispensary...a underground wine cellar where today's wine pairing w/mini donuts was done; soo cool.
(little mini donuts were made on the spot by small bites out of Texas City --so delish!)

We had 2 different wines (white/red) and 2 ports (white/red) with the fabulous mini's.
Sat w/some nice ladies from Cypress TX who were fun.

This family owned winery has come along way...inside and out.

What a little gem! You wouldn't think this classy and pretty a place would be right off 6 in Santa Fe.
The wine was delicious and unique... they really do things their own way and it shows in the wine. I love anything that sets itself apart while also staying true to the standard type. The staff was super easy-going and welcoming, and quick to tell you the answers to any questions you have about all the wines. Even more, they gave me a sample of one I wasn't so sure of. This is so appreciated, especially when they throw their own twist into something.

All you brides out there should be looking at this venue. It has all the amenities to make your wedding perfect! (Including a beautiful treehouse for your wedding night 😉)

Great winery 🍷 along with awesome food. We had the Bacon cheese burger which was phenomenal for a burger right, and pulled pork nachos that great. The Jaquez Madeira wine was very tasty and I am not a wine drinker.

I was invited for a private event in the cellar and fell in love. Amazing party planner was so attentive and making sure all our needs were being met. Thank you for having us we had a great time.

Super cute vineyard not too far out of Houston. Devin gave us a great tour and wine tasting. She was very knowledgeable, funny, and answered all of our questions. Will definitely be coming back! :)

My husband and I went to Haak for my birthday. It was just the two of us and we had a blast. Great atmosphere and I loved the self serve wine. I enjoyed most of the wine but I'm not a big red/dry wine drinker. My personal favorite was their Purple Porpoise!! My husband really enjoyed the Port - Blanc du Bois wine. We tried out most of the wines. We had so much fine trying them all. We also ordered their Parmesan fries. We also got lucky that the same night they had a live band and we had such a good time singing along and dancing. We really enjoyed ourselves and have been talking to our friends

are well educated on the wines they offer, and very friendly. Faith, Antony, and Scott are just fabulous and fun.. Now they offer food! They have a great Chef, Scott, who dreams up some fabulous creations..We had some wonderful tasting Nachos 😋 and then for dessert 🍨 Chef Scott came up with a fabulous idea to create a Purple Porpoise pop up treat....WOW! It was fabulous! Cool off with these..For Sale there now also...It was so tasty 😋 and what a great treat on these HOT SUMMER DAYS. See them Soon!

It's my Besties Birthday and she deserves the Best. So Haak Vineyards and Winery it is and they didn't disappoint. Thanks for all the little things that made our first visit, definitely not our last.

We actually went for their Mardi Gras Celebration. The staff was nice & welcoming. The scenery was peaceful. However the food was horrible, the cheeseboard was actual cubes of cheese threw into a plastic container with crackers. The other items aren't worth mentioning. I was really disappointed. The wine selection was definitely for beginner drinkers. The place has a lot of potential, i wouldn't return.

This winery is perfect in every way! The service was phenomenal our tour guide was excellent the atmosphere was so pleasant.Most of all we had a great time in the wine was exquisite and crisp! Haak Vineyards has a huge selection of wines to choose from! The food was sooooo good too! Overall I rate this winery a 10!

Haak Vineyards & Winery is an amazing place! There is a lot of acreage to navigate. Upon arrival you are presented with a grand building with large doors and a BEAUTIFUL scenery. Inside you will see a greeting table, bar, and self serving wine dispensers. Keep moving forward and you will arrive at the vineyard itself. GORGEOUS! I would recommend this place to my closest friends and family.

Haak continues to grow and evolve, with many new improvements to facilities, entertainment and offerings!
New ownership is changing much for the better, for customers' comfort, dining choices and attractions/events.

A five-star hidden gem in Galveston County!

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. When the kitchen is open, the food is worthy of five stars too. Personally, the Brussels, Baked Ricotta, and Blue Crab Au Gratin are my favorites.

We frequent the winery since this our top local favorite for date night and Sunday brunch.

Even when the winery is busy, the staff always takes the time to make you feel special. In addition, they take the time to help you figure out your glass of choice. Not too many people will take the time to figure out your flavor pallet before recommending a glass

Randomly happened upon this winery and vineyard by chance while in the area. Immediately I thought the exterior was gorgeous and so well-maintained. The tasting room had a super fun system that allowed self-paced, self-guided wine tasting with automatic dispensers. Loved this! While I didn't love all the wines (but who expects to love every single one?!), there were several I enjoyed, would have paired well with food, and there were also some great patio wines as well. The patio looking out over the vineyard was beautiful, and the entire place was not something I expected to find in Texas

Went out with some of the fam for some wines and foods. Super cool place, we skipped the tour and went right down to the cellar, very cool walk down into the room. Once inside you help yourself to a freaking self service wine machine (think fountain drinks but with wine) we ordered some food, everything was incredible! We ordered the.... well to be honest I can't remember the names of things, but basically it was a flatbread pizza with fig, a superb meat and cheese tray, and a bowl of meatballs with sauce and bread. Super cute winery. Had a great time on a girls afternoon out. The vineyard is quaint and peaceful. The tour was super informative and pleasant. We enjoyed our wine tasting and stayed after for more wine and purchased some cheese plates.
They have a great selection of wines.

They have plenty of parking and spaced seating.

A great way to spend the afternoon with friends and enjoy the good weather. Make sure to make a reservation, and I'd add the cheese plate to the tasting when I go again.

Today we enjoyed beautiful weather, good food, beautiful vineyard , and a friends birthday all in one. Thank you Ms. Robin for your hospitality and fun spirit we will def visit you again !!! Beautiful, fun, laid back thanks for having us
