Legacy means a lot to Dr. Harris Brown and his family. After all, it was Dr. Brown's grandfather, Dr. James Brown, Jr., who began the passion for dentistry and love for Mobile that runs so strong through the Brown family. In 1919, Dr. James Brown, Jr. moved to Mobile to start his practice - the first orthodontic practice in Mobile.

The entire team at Coastal is terrific! I needed several gum graft procedures so I was a little anxious because of the stories I'd heard from others who'd had similar procedures. Dr. Metzger took the time to explain everything in detail which helped alleviate much of my anxiety! I've had an amazing experience at Coastal with incredible results. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a consultation or who needs work performed. Go see them today!

I may be biased since Dr. Metzger is my sister but I would highly recommend this office. I’ve had just about all the hygienists clean my teeth and My FAVORITE thing is that they don’t try to ask me questions while holding tools in my mouth! Dr. Metzger was quickly able to diagnose and fix my tooth sensitivity! I can eat all the cold food I want now without a problem!

I was recently referred to Dr. Harris Brown by my regular dentist because of a gum infection. After examination and x-rays it was determined that I had a cracked tooth with an abscess underneath it. Dr. Harris extracted the tooth and also took out the root of a tooth with a crown that had broken off. Let me just say it was quick, painless, AND he called me that night to check to see if I was doing okay. And his office staff is second to none. Highly recommend him to any one.
