The movers at Dunbar are absolutely phenomenal. Every one of them were incredibly hardworking, efficient, accommodating and STRONG. They were nothing but polite the whole day, even while moving the most difficult and heaviest pieces. I don't know how I would have moved my entire house without them. I don't normally post reviews but when a company pulls off a most incredible feat, I think it should be known.

Dunbar movers came highly recommend to me & they didn't disappoint. They mainly move local, Long Island & the 5 boughs. I moved from Long Island to Syracuse in February. It Was done in 2 days. Everything made it in good condition and was reassembled at my new home. The owner & crew were great, helpful & friendly. The best was the cost. I had other estimates, Dunbar gave me a flat rate & didn't try to jack it up.
I can honestly say I'd use them again, if I ever move back to Long Island,
And I highly recommend them.

Horrible experience!! My move was scheduled between 2 and 3. The movers kept calling me to tell me they were running a little late from another move. They didn't start my move until after 5pm. The two movers didn't seem too experienced. They didn't protect any of my furniture before taking it downstairs. Another moving company that I dealt with just the year before wrapped everything really well and I had no damage. After I got settled in I notice one side of my bed must have been scraped against the wall real bad and had scratched and white from the wall all over it. I called the

I absolutely would not hesitate to use this company again! From the first call to the company the information was clear and a quote was provided immediately. When we scheduled, they did so timely and the day of the move could not have gone any better. Kevin & Mike were AMAZING! I hired movers from Dunbar moving to load
our 26' moving truck. On what felt like the hottest day of the year. I really cannot say enough good things about these guys. They were punctual respectful hardworking guys who took care of our things like they belonged to them. Thank you Dunbar I can't tell you how much I appreciate your hard work on what was one of the most stressful days in my life.

This is the second time we have used this moving company and both times we had a good experience. Fair prices and the guys worked hard. My only complaint was that they left one small piece of my daughters bed in the truck. (Which I needed to set up the bed) And it took them 3 days to return it is. The manager apologized but nothing was done in return. I still would use this company again.

Last week I used Dunbar Moving and had a fabulous experience. The two gentlemen that arrived were on time and incredibly friendly. When I opened my boxes not one glass was chipped or cracked. These were two guys who apparently work so well together they were extremely efficient. I found the price to be very reasonable. Terry (the owner) was a pleasure to deal with. This was my first moving experience and he said to me "relax, I am sending two guys and all you have to do is boss them around". Highly recommend!!

I had a great experience with Dunbar Moving this past week. My move was relatively close by and was happy to found a great local moving business right on the Island. They offered the best price out of 3 other estimates I've gotten and was very accommodating to my schedule. Terry was very friendly and courteously on the phone when providing estimate.
When the movers came I was quite pleasantly surprised that the crew was 3 when I was expecting 2 given the estimate given. They worked very efficiently and swiftly loading my furniture onto the truck. I could definitely tell they were very experienced
