We realize that being overweight can be a personal and frustrating experience. Obesity is now the second leading cause of preventable deaths in America. So many men and women have put on excess weight due to lifestyle, work schedule, and after trying the latest "fad diet." Americans spend over $60 billion annually trying to lose weight.
Another option is a combination of phosphatidylcholine and sodium deoxycholate. Phosphatidylcholine is a natural emulsifier derived from soy. It is a major constituent of our cell membranes and pulmonary surfactant. It is widely used orally as the food additive Lecithin, and as an intravenous treatment to break down fat emboli in the bloodstream, lower cholesterol levels, and to protect the liver from disease and toxicity.
Sclerotherapy is a well-proven treatment to eliminate spider and reticular veins. Spider veins and reticular veins are those deeper blue/green lines that often feed purple areas, generally 1-2mm in size. It has been in use since the 1920's, and has emerged as its own specialty in the US since the 1980's.
A very small needle will be used to inject the most widely used sclerosant, Asclera (polidocanol); a very effective agent with low risk of side effects. At the injection sites, small "mosquito bites", reddish/brown bruising, or black and blue marks that change to a yellowish color are all normal. Bruising usually will fade within a week and should be completely gone in 2 weeks.
