Green Hill Engineering
Green Hill Engineering provides perc testing, septic system design, site plans, wetland delineation and permitting in Central and Western Massachusetts. For the past 15 years we have been providing high quality services to homeowners, builders and developers. As a client focused firm, our approach is to incorporate your ideas with our expertise in land design and our understanding of the regulatory climate to create solutions appropriate for each project.

We have an in-depth understanding of the Massachusetts Wetland Protection Act and of Title 5 which, when combined with our expertise and experience in septic design, permitting and land use planning, provides each client with a customized solution to their individual needs.
Services
Title 5, the Massachusetts law that regulates septic systems, requires that a perc test and a thorough soil evaluation be performed prior to designing a new septic system or repairing an existing one. Our state of the art Geographic Information System (GIS) helps us to better assess your site prior to arriving.
Green Hill Engineering provides the highest quality septic designs - quickly and cost effectively. Our knowledge of the regulations and our understanding of land allow us to provide some of the best design work in the industry. Often the design process begins even before we arrive at the site. Our state of the art GIS system can be used to review aerial photos of many sites.
Green Hill Engineering provides both wetland delineation and permitting services for our clients. As wetland regulations become more complex, our many years of experience and deep understanding in this area will successfully guide you through the process.

In delineating wetlands, we utilize the latest analysis techniques - the condition of the soil, the vegetated plant community, and surface and sub-surface hydrology are all taken into account to accurately determine the edge of a wetland. Our designs incorporate the most current Best Management Practices (BMP's) and utilize them for both construction and long term compliance with the Wetlands Protection Act.
Sustainable development incorporates design techniques to reduce the impact of development on our natural resources. It is a sound practice that results in cleaner water and protection of natural habitats. We are familiar with the State of Massachusetts' Smart Growth Initiatives and promote these strategies.
Green Hill Engineering provides site plans for both residential and small commercial development. A high quality plan can shorten permitting time and allow contractors to give competitive quotes for the site work involved. The process of creating a site plan begins with defining the goals of a project.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
Worst experience with a "professional" ever. Have been waiting for over a year for him to do his job, and impossible to get ahold of

I had to deliver a check in the morning and the woman at the desk was informative and very pleasant. I also was very impressed with the engineer when he came to my home. I would recommend the company with out hesitation.
