The evolving need of our customers have transformed a small Mississippi machine shop from the early 1900's into a modern comprehensive contract manufacturer.
Rockett Incorporated, named for its founder Louis Rockett, began as a small fabricator in Hattiesburg, Mississippi toward the end of the 19th century. By the 1940s Rockett had expanded, diversified, and relocated to the Jackson capital city area. During the building boom following the Second World War a new technology for "firing" bricks in tunnel kilns became the next opportunity for Rockett to diversify and grow.

We offer modern CNC machining technology and of decades of machining experience ready to serve you. We stock a wide range of material types in various shapes and sizes. We stock round bar in several alloys in both hot rolled and cold finished sizes. Rockett specializes in precision CNC lathe work. We have turning centers able to handle work up to a 20 diameter.
Engineering - Our staff of mechanical and manufacturing engineers offer engineering solutions to meet our customer's needs from a single part to a dedicated work center synchronized to our customer's production schedule. They use the latest engineering software e.g. Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Gibbs CAM, etc. to ensure excellent product quality and value.
