In 2002, after more than 10 years serving retail clients as an Interior Designer, Wendy Carr established her own design studio by opening Wendy Carr Interior Designs. Since then, Wendy Carr Interior Designs has grown to be one of Mid-Michigan's most successful independently owned modern interior design and decorating firms.
After weeks of planning, painting, and preparing, the final step in the decorating process arrived - installation day. With great anticipation and excitement, my husband and I left the house in the capable and talented hands of our designer. Several hours later we received the call to return home. When we walked through the front door into the foyer, the vista into our living room and dining room had gone through an unbelievable transformation.
No! Some people assume that because we do lots of beautiful homes with complicated treatments they can't afford us. Not True! In fact, we actually save our clients money and frustration. We take a planned approach to your dcor. You will avoid costly mistakes because we will work with you every step of the way to create and implement a design that reflects your personal taste.

Window treatments can be overwhelming—so many choices! We have had Wendy help us on three occasions finding just the right application. Finding what you are after is only half the battle. When you need to know you have the right measurements before you place an order, you need a professional with confidence. Did I mention confidence when it comes to installation? She has a fantastic ability to coordinate the color, fabric, style to make any room complete. Always a fair price for her expertise.
