We took a 5 day / 4 night bike trip from Pittsburgh to Cumberland, and this was our final night stay. It was by far our favorite. The room was tidy, hot shower with good water pressure, the bed was sooo comfortable, breakfast was prompt and delicious, it was very quiet (at all our other stays I was awoken by other guests walking around in the middle of the night / early AM), and the staff was so incredibly friendly!

Down the hill from the GAP trail. Got their a little early but they were really helpful and let us check in early. They have a locked garage to keep the bikes in. Then we were given keys and made our way to the third floor. Such a quaint, well cleaned, and just right room. We took a shower to get off the trail dust. The towels and toiletries provided were nice. The room had air conditioning, small TV with cable, and a closet to name few amenities.
We went out for a stroll. Walking distance to restaurants. Then walked around town admiring the businesses and older houses. Then returned and sat on

This Guest House is everything you could wish for and more when riding the GAP. Denise and Chuck have created a very relaxed and beautifully decorated home away from home for their guests. Yoders Guest House is immaculate and offers everything needed for bike travel, from bike wash, tools, garage storage, etc. to comfortable rooms, access to a refrigerator, microwave, dining area and laundry. The full breakfast is delicious with a wonderful presentation second to none. In addition the hosts were careful to make everyone feel safe during the pandemic by following the recommended guidelines. They

Had a great, relaxing stay here after a hard, rainy day on the GAP trail. Some highlights:
1) Rooms were spacious with nice hot showers. Wifi was available but it was a bit spotty for me inside the room.
2) Locked garage available for secure bike storage. A garden hose was available in the back yard to wash off our bikes after a muddy ride.
3) Great breakfast!
4) Snacks and beverages available all day
5) Laundry available (washer is free, dryer is $1.25 and requires quarters)
Highly recommend this place!

This was our favorite place on our bike trip! What a beautifully clean and well kept inn. We also loved that they leave out snacks for us tired and hungry bikers. I think I also saw some beer and wine in the fridge too!
The room was sparkling clean. Check in was very friendly and they have a locked bike shed which was very well organized. You didn't have to lift your bikes up off the ground like at some other places. Which means a lot after a long day of riding.
There is a Sheetz just a block away where you can stock up on supplies (or even dinner, in our case).
One thing we also really

After a longish bike ride (for me these days) up from Paw Paw and the 23 mile climb from Cumberland, Yoder Guest House was the perfect welcoming place for the night. Chuck greeted me, helped me get my bike stored, and oriented me to the house and the few dining options on Monday evenings. My room (the Dixon) had a shared bath but felt private, and had its own back balcony with nice views. All the amenities (nice towels, ambience, sitting areas, ample continental breakfast) were great. And sitting on the front porch on a pleasant August evening and morning were perfect.

The staff at the Yoder House is of utmost friendliness, and that, to me, is their biggest sell. They're so accommodating, offering everything from food and beer to extra towels and sheets. Further, the house itself is very clean and has a lovely porch that is perfect for relaxation, especially after a long day on the GAP trail. Definitely take your time and enjoy a stay at the Yoder House!

Fantastic place to stay while biking the GAP trail! Six of us rolled in after a long day of biking. The rooms were awesome as was the secure garage for our bikes. The front porch is a great place to sit! We wished we had eaten at Yoder's because it looked delicious. Can't say enough nice things about this place!

Yoder's really is a gem, I had such a great night here I really wish I was able to stay longer.
Chuck, your host and owner is such a great guy. He's so proud of his adopted little town, you can't help but get caught up in his enthusiasm.
The room was perfect, clean, comfortable and nice and quiet, it was everything you need and so much more than you'd expect.
There's always coffee, tea, etc. and a continental breakfast to enjoy just about anytime you like.
Thanks again Chuck, can't wait to come back and spend another night or two in Meyersdale!

This place makes me happy. After a long exhausted day of seeing nothing but trails and the front of my bike tire, Yoders guest house was such a warm welcome.
The smiles of Chuck & Denise made all the difference. They were there to greet us to our homes for the night, helping us move our bikes to the garage, & giving us the guide of the town. They even offered to drive half of our luggage to their partner hostel down the road (whiich doesn't sound far but its actually a giant fricken hill, great for coasting down but unforch gravity is a one way street).
All the rooms have cute

Every part of our experience with Yoder's Guesthouse was delightful. Denise and Chuck were so wonderful, accommodating, and thoughtful. We booked several rooms for family and friends, as we had a small wedding at the nearby Levi Deal Mansion. In addition to helping us work out bookings and room assignments, they made sure guests were well oriented on arrival and were comfortably accommodated. The charm and cordiality of Meyersdale was thoroughly experienced at Yoder's.
