I have always been a homemade kind of girl. Growing up on a farm in northern Minnesota, the winters were cold, the workdays were long, and the smell of good cooking filled our home from early morning until well after sundown. My hard working family gathered around a long plank table in the evenings to enjoy my Mom's healthy and hearty food as well as each other.
Weddings - Commitment Ceremonies: Helping you plan the perfect wedding reception menu is one of the most exciting aspects of our business. We are just as excited about all the other celebrations, regardless of sexual orientation, with their civil unions, commitment ceremonies, legal marriages and other relationship celebrations.
Gabriel and I celebrated our one year anniversary yesterday. It is crazy how time flies! We just wanted to thank you again for the all the amazing food and all the work that went into making our reception so special. We still have guests talking about all the delicious food that you prepared! In fact, last night Gabe and I were wishing for your cooking instead of the meal in front of us!

I just had a small wedding at home this weekend for ~20 guests and Cindy was an absolute lifesaver. About half of my guests were vegetarian or vegan, so she worked with me to create a menu that would work for everyone. I received several comments from those guests about how much they enjoyed the food and feeling included in our planning, as opposed to only having veggie sides as an option. Things got off to a bit of a late start, but Cindy was super helpful and was willing to roll with the punches. I 100% recommend Catering by Cindy! Cindy and her team made my wedding weekend so unforgettable! We started on Friday with a bbq dinner and all the fixings. I barely got to eat any because my guests were going back for seconds and thirds! On Saturday she wowed my out of town guests with a southern meal consisting of brisket, shrimp and grits, and the cutest southern apps. I started my wine touring business 4 years ago and Cindy catered my very first tour to Blue Ridge. She chose a menu that fit with our cost and was very prompt on arrival. We are so glad we hired Cindy to cater both our rehearsal and reception dinners. We met Cindy for a trial and she blew us away. She made us feel at home and her food is delicious.
