Foot pain can be caused by an injury or stem from an existing condition. The foot is a complex part of the body that is composed of muscles, ligaments, and tendons all working together to provide mobility. It is important to keep the feet healthy to keep the body moving. When one part of the foot isn't functioning correctly, the rest of the foot will suffer.
This forces the toe to bend toward the others, causing an often painful lump of bone on the foot. Since this joint carries a lot of the body's weight while walking, bunions can cause extreme pain if left untreated. The MTP joint itself may become stiff and sore, making even the wearing of shoes difficult or impossible.
Toenails often serve as barometers of our health; they are diagnostic tools providing the initial signal of the presence or onset of systemic diseases. For example, the pitting of nails and increased nail thickness can be manifestations of psoriasis. Concavity-nails that are rounded inward instead of outward-can foretell iron deficiency anemia.
A neuroma is a painful condition, also referred to as a "pinched nerve" or a nerve tumor. It is a benign growth of nerve tissue frequently found between the third and fourth toes that bring on pain, a burning sensation, tingling, or numbness between the toes and in the ball of the foot. The principal symptom associated with a neuroma is pain between the toes while walking.

The doctor literally came in for two minutes and was selling biopsies, x-rays, custom orthotics, and medications. Also won’t give me my biopsy results unless I make another Dr visit. Which means I would have to take another day off work. had to pay $60 copay even though I have a good PPO. Not recommend.

Everytime I went in I was told something different by Dr. Langroudi. On my last appointment he gave me a steroid shot and told me that if that didn't work there wasn't anything else he could do. Shortly after, I moved to Texas and sought a second opinion. Turns outn I had a cyst in my ankle that needed to be removed.
Please don't waist your time here or at least with Dr. Langroudi.

Dr Chandler was very knowledgeable about dance related foot injuries like the one I had. I would recommend her to any dancer looking for treatment for any foot/ankle injury. I never had to wait for my appointment and each one was pretty quick, so it was easy to fit into my schedule.

I had my first visit today and was very impressed with the office as a whole. The office is in a nice area and has easy access parking. The waiting room is modern and very clean. I was greeted by a friendly face and the check in process was easy. They squeezed me in same day and I had no wait. I was called back before I even finished my paperwork. The nurse who took my X-rays treated me like I was an old friend. The technology is the office is very up to date and makes you feel confident you’re in good hands. The Dr saw me promptly after my X-rays and did a great job explaining my situation.

Years ago, In NJ, I had a botched bunion surgery, that resulted in an unwanted joint implant , many complications and a fear of Podiatrists. Once we moved to Santa Barbara my husband and I searched for a different type of office, with a Podiatrist we felt we could trust. Dr. Chandler had treated both of us on multiple occasions. Each time has been positive. Her staff is also helpful, booking us quickly and accepting our insurance. It is a relief to have an office handle insurance paperwork. Ever since my prior foot complications, I have suffered from chronic foot pain and I have found it difficult

I amply recommend Doctor Kalhor, I have been suffering for over 15 years a lot of pain in my right foot, and had seen many doctors to find a cure. Finally I was blessed to find her and she performed a surgery that took the pain at least 90% away. It has made my life more tolerable, no more pills and ice packs. She's an artist, like Michelangelo, with the scalpel.

I often refer to Dr. Kalhor as my favorite doctor. My first encounter with her was for an ingrown toenail and though I had tried to get an appointment as soon as possible, I had to wait three weeks, and now I understand why. She is very much in demand, as she is a great listener and takes her time understanding the issue(s). She also told me that if I ever have an issue like I had, to talk to the office manager and get in to see her right away.
In addition to treating my ingrown toenail, she also took the extra steps to X-Ray my feet and determined that I would benefit from orthotics. I continue
