Services
We use light therapy to treat various skin conditions. Phototherapy with ultraviolet light helps clear psoriasis. Our vascular laser and intense pulsed light systems treat rosacea, facial redness, broken capillaries, brown age spots, and sun-damaged skin. Photodynamic therapy uses a combination of blue light and topically applied levulinic acid acid to treat pre-cancers.

If i could prevent anyone from having the same lack of care as i have received I would do all I could. they are more suited to going full MOHS on anything. rudest staff. takes 3 weeks to be able to make an appointment after the referral has arrived at their office. I have been a patient for years and the practice is worse than when i started. much much worse

Being a person that of the suntan era of the 70's; where you slathered baby oil and iodine on to get that super deep tan.... Well now years later I have had many issues of skin cancer (ya think?).
I am a patient of Dr Hillary Hill and her staff of Paige and Nila. To say that that are the best of the best goes without saying. They're professional, knowledgable and are sensitive to how stressful pain or just being scared can be. Even with a person that has has many MOS surgeries. Their new office is beautiful, clean and enforce Covid protocols. I can't say enough about how well

Front desk staff was cheerful and scheduling was easy. Nurse and doctor were friendly and efficient. Doctor was willing to answer questions and understood and addressed my concerns.
My only complaint is that they don't do general practice because I would absolutely come back for primary care if they did.

I've been here a handful of times throughout the years and always had a good professional experience. I've struggled with acne my whole life as it's evolved well into adulthood and they have always been precise in treating it. My husband and teen have also been in and had very informed visits with good outcomes. The waits are no different than any other medical facility. Some are very quick, and easy. Other times there might be a bit of a wait, but not bad.

I have been a patient of Dr Hsu since 1998 and have receivd superior care. I have had many skin cancers removed by Dr Hsu, including three melanomas in situ. The office staff have always been helpful and the patient care coordinators have been very helpful when I needed a referral to a plastic surgeon. I recently met Dr. Norris when I required a Mohs procedure, and was equally impressed with her.

I called NW Dermatology for an appointment as a new patient. As I provided my medical issue, name and address the receptionist explained I was already in the system. I recall making an appt 7 years ago in 2011 but they couldn’t get me in for several weeks and I had an emergency. I had to make an appt with a different provider to take care of that issue right away.

Saw Dr Hsu for years and really liked him. However, in the last few years, you can only get an appointment with a PA unless you want to wait three months to see the doctor. The PA is NOT a physician and is only good good for minor things. My issue was shrugged off because she did not recognize a fairly common skin disorder. I went to another office and saw a physician who recognized the problem as soon as he saw me. We are now seeing another dermatologist.

We have tried a number of dermatologists in the Spokane area and not had great luck. At NW Dermatology our whole family now goes to physician's assistant Erin Nulf. She is outstanding. We have a teenager that has struggled with acne and so we've paid a lot of money to be prescribed different meds by different dermatologists and PA's. Erin took the time to ask all of the necessary questions and realized it was going to take a different plan of action. I've sent friends to her now who have had the same success in different areas of dermatology too. She has great communication

Good patient care however one front desk person was rude and they have terrible billing. I was told I had a zero balance then they sent me a bill over a year later. They said insurance denied the claim. My insurance company sent them a letter in January and they finally sent me a bill in August. It shouldn't take that long! Then they send my bill to collections within 2 months!

He's gentle & kind. He scanned my entire body for precancerous and other concerns. Rather than to try to sell me an expensive laser treatment, he wrote me a script for a topical solution, when properly used, will eradicate my precancerous areas.
