A Amendt Pest Control
A. Amendt Pest Control Company is a family-owned and operated pest management firm servicing the Greater Delaware Valley and South Jersey areas. Founded in 1955, our tradition of prompt, quality pest management service is carried on today by our staff of trained and dedicated professionals. Our service technicians are highly-trained specialists.

They are all State Certified in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Our sales and technical service staff receive continuing education to keep abreast of constantly changing conditions, pest management technology, and pest control techniques.
Services
Our highly-trained technicians are all state-certified and are consistently trained in the most up-to-date pest control technology and techniques. We provide specialized treatment of your structure to eliminate the termite infestation and prevent reinvasion. Bed bugs can infest homes through second-hand or newly-shipped furniture, and cause itching & welts in their unwilling hosts.
The service consists of a thorough pest inspection followed by appropriate treatment as needed. For your convenience, your service will be strategically scheduled on a predetermined day each spring, summer, and fall. Our sales team first provides a thorough inspection to determine a proper course of action.
Bed bugs are secretive insects, hiding during the daytime in cracks and crevices, then emerging to search for a blood meal at night. They hatch from tiny eggs where each of five stages takes a blood meal before becoming adult males and females. If left unchecked, bed bug populations can explode. A single, mated female in January, if given the proper environment, can, by September, result in over 37,000 bedbugs!
Mosquitoes are breeders and they spread diseases to both humans and pets. The female mosquito only needs a very small amount of water to lay up to 300 eggs. She will repeat the cycle 10 times on average during her lifespan. Mosquitoes can live for as long as six months in closed off areas like sheds, garages, and culverts.
Both Deer and House Mice breed year round indoors and out. As cold weather sets in, mice outdoors probe the exterior perimeter of buildings at night seeking shelter for the winter. Outdoors, they feed on insects, grains, and bird seed. They follow pipes, holes in the foundation, and any other opening they can find to enter a building.

Called them & no one answered so I left a message. Been a week & still no call back. Guess they didn't want my business. Went somewhere else & got immediate service, same day.

Knowledgeable, friendly. I used Amendt for my condominium complex. Cool feature options like Bedbug (dog sniffing) detection 💜 they get to the root of the problem and solve quickly! I would recommend them 1000 times over.

Received incomplete service from what we signed up for, then received very poor customer service when trying to deal with the situation. Tried to resolve issue with owner who would repeatedly interrupt me and not let me fully explain the problem. Then the owner blackmailed us with a partial refund if we agreed to not leave a bad review. Shady.

John did an excellent job at identifying that a small bird had entered the dryer vent and laid an egg inside our dyer. He caught and released the bird. He was very efficient and thorough. Impressive work.

I live in a converted row to apartment building and the upstairs apartment noticed bedbugs. later, so did i. a amendt did a thorough job of ridding us of them. the whole process was pretty awful. but a amendt kept to the task and gave detailed instructions of what i needed to do to get our house ready for extermination and then what they would do to fix the problem. the tasks that were required for extermination proved to be daunting, but once i was ready for the extermination, they came in and solved the issue. two exterminations later and i haven't seen or felt a bug since and it's

This guy was so obnoxious when he came to our house to give us an estimate of services. His staff are pleasant but even they complained that he has some sort of Napoleonic complex and has to be rude to everyone just to show off. He told us we had termite damage and needed a lot of work but after getting two other opinions found out it was only very minor damage from a woodpecker. It was easily repaired and saved us from a large ongoing expense. I would recommend Modern over this guy, any time.

I'm pretty disappointed. Amendt did a pest inspection when I bought my house. They noticed a hole in the fascia that had been made by squirrels. They proposed to trap the squirrels and patch the hole so that they (the squirrels, that is, not Amendt) wouldn't return. I accepted the proposal. When the technician came out he said he couldn't reach the hole so, instead, he installed traps near the hole but outside. He ended up trapping and removing 2 squirrels. The problem is that the hole remains so critters can return. I called and emailed Amendt several times to explain that
