I was there for a couple of years. I have had bad situations , bad counselors,etc... After some time I got a great counselor and I was doing great then I lost my job and I couldn't pay my bill. It THEN IT WAS FAST SICKENING DETOX BECAUSE IT WAS LEGAL. No caring about my ,,,our,,, WELL being at all . The people I thought were looking out for u stick it to u !!!

If You work the program the right way, it works! You get what you put into it. Staff, you have your good and your bad (just like any place), but overall the staff seems like they want to help you better yourself. They guide you and stay on you about your recovery. They treat you like your human they don't make you feel less than or look down on you. Security, is AWESOME very organized, and treats everyone with respect and makes sure there is order at all times. NASH is AWESOME they couldn't find anyone to do that job as well as him. Nash IS THE MAN!!!!! So Thank you for helping us help ourselves

This is one of the best places I've been too. Their fair and honest, the people who work their are great. I'm so glad i came here they treat you right with respect honesty and tell you exactly how it is. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking help , kindness and treatment. The gaurds are great. All and all 💯 percent I give to this place and everyone in it.

Like any place the worst part is intake. Get there early and make sure you have all your paperwork. These are very nice people who give you open opportunity to follow the rules without being strict. Once you cant seem to follow the rules you can expect the "leash" to get a bit shorter... I am thankful that since I joined I never had to get anything off the streets

This place actually works. I have been clean for almost over a year now and I owe it all to the people working there. They have helped be get my life back on track. Thank You Guys. Its does get busy at times however they always accommodate all the Clients. All of the negative reviews are from people who do not pay there bills or do not do what they are suppose to being a person in recovery. I have seen those clients that write the bad reviews. They were the ones selling drugs and got caught. The others are the ones who do not want to pay their bills, that they know they have to.

This is a great place for anyone who's looking to have their loved one back. And it's even a better place for anyone who's trying to get their life together. My cousin was suffering from the disease of addiction. He had tried many programs in New Jersey like Sunrise in Irvington and lennard clinic in Newark. He didn't get any help at those locations and was much worse then when he started. It was only when he started at American Habitare and counseling, that he got his life back together. Thanks to the people that work there, he is finally back to normal and has been substance
