Services
After graduating from Washington University in St. Louis with honors, Dr. Moon completed his medical degree from the University Of Missouri School Of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude. He then joined the United States Army as a medical officer and completed his internship and dermatology residency at the Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Moon and Dr. Limbert are board-certified dermatologists who treat a variety of skin problems. Certain common ailments include acne problems, allergic rashes, eczema, excessive sweating, skin tags and more. Specialized treatments include basal cell carcinoma, shingles, sun damage, skin cancer, melanoma and others.
While medical dermatology and surgery focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin disease, there is a significant aspect of dermatology directed towards improving a person's appearance. At Advanced Dermatology of Southeast Missouri we offer minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, performed in the office, with little or no downtime.
Unlike a plastic surgeon or other type of surgeon, board certified dermatologists are specifically trained in the treatment of skin cancer and can provide options other than surgery. However, if surgery is required, our practice offers the most current treatments available to provide you with the highest cure rates.

I seen Christina today. I absolutely love her eagerness and willingness to go above and beyond to try to help. Since moving to MO I haven't really felt heard or felt that I was being looked at like an individual, a human being. I've been passed around and no one has actually looked at ME or my actual symptoms until I seen Christina and the other nice woman working with her today. These 5 stars are for them. If they see this God Bless you and keep doing what you're doing! We need more Drs and people like you! Thank you!

First Appt, went in for a suspicious spot on my scalp, Dr Toal, was very kind and reassuring. She also picked up on my anxiousness and talked me through the biopsy … Im waiting on those results .. she was thorough. The waiting room was full, and there was a lot of patients coming and going … My whole appt took less than 35 mins ..

Pulling up in the parking lot, the building is huge and majestic appearing.
Inside, the staff at front desk cordial.
The lobby is equally impressive with a spacious and comfortable floor plan.
Moderate amount of patients coming and going.
1st thought is this dermatologist will be very expensive. This is due to the fanciness of the building.
The full body mole examination I'd say is lacking on the physicians part.
The MD physician will have you strip to your underwear, yet they'll never look under the underwear to check for the presence of other potential moles

The staff is kind and helpful. The prescribers I’ve seen are all knowledgeable and genuinely care about my family and me. Dr. Moon can always get us in when needed. I recommend if you need a dermatologist in southeast Missouri you come here, I could not be happier with my experiences at Advanced Dermatology.

My experience is based on several appointments and not just one visit. The back office staff has always been extremely helpful and friendly. I really appreciate that they run on time, this makes me extremely happy! I do understand that sometimes things happen beyond their control that can cause them to run behind. On my most recent visit, I had made an appointment for my dad to see Amy Willingham. We went in for a specific issue but, because Amy took her time and treated him like he was her only patient, she found several areas of precancerous cells. I am grateful! I have also referred other family

The front staff are very short and unfriendly. To top it off, they ran 40 mins behind. My daughter is in school and we waited 2 months for an appointment, they asked us to be there at 11:00, for an 11:20 appointment and we did not get to a room until 12:00. There was 0 saying sorry for your wait, we apologize for your wait nothing. They nurse just acted like this was fine and dandy to wait over an hour to be seen by a doctor. Very disappointing.

I had a squamous cell growth removed from my neck; they used dissolvable sutures. After 9 days the wound is healing wonderfully and the sutures are starting to dissolve. When I lived in another state I had a similar procedure done and there was an infection so I was worried this time; however, there have been no problems at all. I was treated wonderfully by the staff, I received answers to all my questions. A good experience!

My wait was over 30 mins to even be seen, and then was ‘glanced at’ as she spent a total of maybe 59 seconds in the room with me. I felt so unimportant like I was wasting her time to look at my suspicious skin spot. Then after taking a quick glance, and saying it was nothing but an age spot and gave me a sunscreen handout, which just offended me! I am a 36 yr old natural redhead, hopefully I know to use and what to use sunscreen by now! And it’s not going to be the $40 bottle of designer kind they sell there...what a huge waste of my time coming in. I definitely won’t be back to see that
