Services
Erin and Jen have a long history together, dancing in college at the University of the Arts to managing and teaching at various dance studios. In 2020, they decided to bring their artistic visions together to their own studio, Spotlight Performing Arts Center. This brand new dance studio is located at 41 Rte 73 Building 1 Suite 100 Hammonton, NJ 08037.
MaryEllen grew up in Pennsylvania and began dancing at the age of eight, studying all styles of dance. After graduating high school she continued her dance education by attending The University of the Arts. At University of the Arts she had the amazing opportunity of performing at Merriam and Drake Theatre under the guidance of Scott Jovovich, Matthew Neenan, Ronen Koresh, Andrew Pap, Wayne David, and many more.
Kiara Grimes began dancing at the age of two but began competing nationally at age 13 and from there her passion for dance began to bloom. She recently graduated from West Chester University with a bachelor's degree in business management and a minor in entrepreneurship. Kiara was also involved with the West Chester University Dance Team while taking on leadership roles such as historian, secretary and most recently, dance team captain.
Naomi Pagan began dancing at the age of three, and at eleven she committed to the Advanced Training Program at her dance studio where she trained with Miss Erin and Miss Jen. Through the competitive dance team, Naomi won many awards. She grew up as a well-rounded dancer taking Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Pointe and Hip Hop.
We offer ballet classes for ages 2.5 and up. Ballet is a type of performance dance that originated during the Italian Renaissance in the fifteenth century. It later developed into a concert dance form in France and Russia. Ballet training helps prevent injury and improve balance, concentration, alignment, posture and more.

I had Miss Jen and Miss Erin as a senior in high school and I SO wish I had the opportunity to train with them in the years before! However, I am thrilled to have my daughter there with them now at this brand new studio. They are professional, knowledgeable, and all-around great people! I also can’t forget about Miss Leigh, who is the acro guru, and Miss Ro, who is amazing with the tiny dancers :)

I am so thankful my daughter gets to express her love of dance at Spotlight Performing Arts Center. The teachers are amazing and take their time to make sure all of the dancers are learning proper techniques and skills. In addition, the teachers are so caring and are truly invested in each student. As a whole, the culture at Spotlight is very inclusive and supportive. All of the students support and cheer on each other because we are all part of the same team. Spotlight also offers a lot of opportunities for my daughter to take Master Classes by established professional dancers. This experience

My daughter loves her classes at SPAC. Her teachers are friendly and courteous and she has learned so much since starting here. She is taking some exams to improve on her Acro skills. SPAC has great communication skills, always very above board and honest with everything. Very professional and reasonably priced. Billing is simple and easy.
They offer Master class courses which have been amazing and so informative on top of their available classes. We highly recommend

Spotlight is an amazing studio for stellar dance education. I love that my daughter is being taught by certified instructors. I know she is learning proper dance technique and discipline. The atmosphere at the studio is warm and welcoming. I would 100% recommend Spotlight to any parent whose child is interested in taking a dance class. From a little 2 year old aspiring ballerina, a teenager who would love to be a professional dancer or an excited 10 year old who loves to flip and jump, Spotlight is the perfect place!
