Mississippi Pearl Photography is a wedding and senior portrait photographer based in Muscatine Iowa and we serve all of Iowa including The Quad Cities, Davenport, Bettendorf, Iowa City, and Des Moines. So usually, the first question is.how in the hell do you pronounce your name; So that we can become fast friends and avoid any awkwardness. It's pronounced Michael. As in Michael Jackson/Michael Jordan. As a child of the 90's I can't tell you the number of Michael Jordan and Michael Jackson jokes I endured!
I like to chat with my couples to see what their dream wedding day will look like. I want to put together a collection that best serves them and their vision for the day. I have never been one that feels very comfortable in front of a camera, but Michale from Mississippi Pearl Photography made my husband and I feel so at ease during both our engagement session and during our big day!
My husband and I also have large families (with lots of kids) and had a large wedding party, which we knew didn’t make our wedding easy. We were so pleased that she was able to capture absolutely STUNNING images that we will always cherish! I cannot speak highly enough of Michale’s professionalism, attitude, and quality of work.

Michale was amazing!! Before my senior pictures I was really nervous, but Michale made me feel comfortable taking pictures and actually showed me how fun it can be. Michale is such an amazing photographer. She thought of all the little details that no one else would think about that made all the difference. She is super creative with her ideas and locations! I had an amazing experience with Michale and I would 100 percent recommend her!!

There just aren’t words to describe how lucky we feel to have found Michale and Mississippi Pearl! The "photographer search" was the longest, hardest decision of all of our wedding planning, mostly because it was the most important to us! It began long ago, and Michale has helped us through so much of planning our wedding. We were more than impressed with our engagement photos, which allowed me to have no worries at all for what would come on our wedding day. Michale is more than just a photographer. Her personality is contagious and she has a heart of gold. I first met Michale on my sister's wedding day as she not only captured amazing photos but made for a fun, smooth, stress free day. I had the opportunity to do a boudoir shoot with Michale as she begins to build her portfolio and it was a blast. She did an exceptional job on making me feel confident and empowered. This woman is more than just a photographer! Her photos for our engagement session and wedding were absolutely STUNNING and we are so thankful to have those memories. Michale went above and beyond to help us find other quality vendors in the area. She even found a hair stylist within days of our previous one canceling on us. Michale was a dream to work with and she made everything so easy! We live in Chicago and planned our wedding remotely, but she did not miss a beat.
