Founder Bernardica Sic Babic is recognized for her distinctive Modern Glamorous style, inspired by her international travels and time living abroad. Bernardica grew up in Europe and all throughout her childhood she dreamed of studying art but when a civil war broke out in her home country of Croatia she was forced to let go of that dream and relocate to Germany.
She ended up earning a bachelor of medical science and spent 8 years working in the medical field as a nurse. In Germany, she met her husband, Mike. In 1999 she and Mike made the decision to move their young family to what is now their permanent home: Katy, TX. Mike began a career in the remodeling industry and in 2003 they opened their own remodeling business together, Floor TX & Remodeling.

Bernardica Interiors has been in the remodeling business since 2003. Our head designer, Bernardica Sic Babic (IDDP), offers interior design, staging, interior decorating, and color consulting services in residential and corporate spaces. Bernardica keeps her clients personality and values in mind by gently guiding them through the process of uncovering or refining their own unique style.
We collaborate closely with architects, builders, contractors, and trade to create a tailored home or business. We will start at the curb and walk through each room of your home to discuss what to pack, what to keep, the placement of furniture, accessories, artwork, and more. We combine color psychology, current trends, and color design theories to come up with a successful informed solution for your project.
Bringing in a designer from the beginning of a new construction project allows you the opportunity to have an expert with you to help you achieve a well thought interior and exterior of your new building. Someone who has your needs and style in mind. We will work alongside you and the builder, and customize every element of the interior space.

Our townhouse is 50 years old and was in desperate need of renovation. Bernardica made a perfect interior design according to our style and preference, starting with the choice of colors, tile, furniture, flooring and lightning. Our home is now a modern 21st century place, but very warm and inviting. Every single detail was planned into perfection and executed to meet the highest standards.
