When we're not busy working, we love to travel with our two daughters, exploring new cities in the U.S. and traversing internationally to learn of different cultures, meet incredible people and eat amazing food. We live by the mindset of choosing experiences over things. We truly believe that traveling cultivates an appreciation, acceptance and better understanding of the world as a whole.
Shooting portraits or a wedding in every state and in locations throughout the world is one of our bucket list goals! We met 20 years ago in an AOL chatroom and have been together ever since. In 2009, on the 10th anniversary of our first date, we tied the knot in front of our closest family and friends in a beautiful town called Akumal, Mexico.

It's important to feel at ease and on the same page with your wedding photographer, because they are also the ones with you the entire day (and communicating with your family and friends). And the personalities that both of them bring to the table is nothing short of inviting and that close family-oriented feel.
We are a husband and wife photography team that specializes in weddings, destination weddings, engagements, vow renewals, events and portraits. We believe that love is love and we are honored when we are asked to document any type of wedding or celebration. We fully embrace inclusion and celebrate diversity in both our personal lives and our business.

MarieSam + Tommy are truly the best pair of photographers (and humans)! They photographed our engagement photos in July 2018 and our big wedding day right before the Christmas season chaos in December 2018. We were referred to them by Mark's side of the family-- two brothers (and a few friends from our church) used MarieSam + Tommy's services, so they were practically family and were familiar with our religious traditions and expectations.

As we celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary, we reflect on our special day, and how great it all came together with the help of special individuals who went well beyond our expectations. From our first meeting, Marie-Sam and Tommy impressed us and made us feel reassured that they would take care of us in capturing those key moments we wanted to save. They were both very organized and clear with their instructions and methods to ensure that we all had an understanding of one another on our initial pre engagement photos to the wedding day.

When wedding planning we figured out that photography was at the top of our priority list. When searching for a photographer we didn’t have to look for too long. We have had the pleasure to witness the vibe and feel of MarieSam and Tommy from a few weddings that me and my wife were in. To us, we needed to have that connection or have that feeling that they knew us and what we wanted. After the initial meeting with them, we knew that they were going to be our photographers for our special day.

MarieSam and her Husband Tommy were so fun to work with. My fiance' and I hadn't ever taken pictures together, especially engagements, and they made is so fun and comfortable for us. They also took the time to get to know us and where we came from; including what we were pursuing in a career and if we were attending school. They helped us with posing for the pictures and with their extensive backgrounds in photography they knew exactly what would make our pictures spectacular. When I return to California to take pictures, I will without a doubt schedule to work with MarieSam and Tommy Sanchez.

For a fifteen-year-old girl, capturing her most special and memorable Quincianera milestone is a once in a lifetime moment and MarieSam and her husband Tommy sure captured how special that moment was for our Quincianera. I worked with MarieSam to do boudoir photos to give to my husband on our wedding day. She was amazing! I was sort of embarrassed about the whole experience but she made me feel so at ease and helped me get into the whole process. My photos (and album) turned out so beautiful and my husband loves them to say the least.......he brags about them to his friends all the time. MarieSam & Tommy are absolute GOLD!! We've known them for years & we were SO excited to have them shoot a family session for us. We had the most wonderful experience working with MarieSam Sanchez Photography. My boyfriend and I took our Senior Prom photos with her the day of. We have never gotten photos done by a wedding photographer so we were kind of nervous about how to pose(especially the kissing photos haha), but not only did MarieSam Sanchez and her husband guide us through it, the photos came out BEAUTIFULLY.
