Craftsman Built specializes in custom homes, remodels, and historical renovations using time-honored craftsmanship, quality materials, state-of-the-art equipment, and proven sub-contractors. Craftsman Built prefers a cost-plus model. Simply put, the interests of the homeowner are better served when there is full visibility in the building process. In a cost-plus model, production expenses pass directly to the client with a pre-negotiated markup to cover the contractor's overhead. Clients receive regular itemized reports and a copy of every receipt.
Craftsman Built uses an online project management system that allows our clients to communicate with us 24-7. We provide our clients with timely updates at each stage of their project from start to finish.
Whether it's choosing selection and specification preferences, monitoring developments through the project timeline, viewing photos of work completed, scheduling of sub-contractors, or managing project finances, our clients can access their project information from anywhere in the world and at a time convenient to them.

John Tormalehto rebuilt my house after a water heater exploded and destroyed walls, ceilings, and floors. John's intelligence, skill, creativity, attention to detail, selection of subcontractors, and common sense turned a disaster into a huge improvement. First class quality! John T. was one of the original builders of our home and we were grateful to find him again when we added on.
