After seven years of marriage, while undergoing infertility work-up at Wayne State University in Detroit, my wife got pregnant. It was a rewarding and most joyful experience to have our first child. This experience inspired my decision to become an obstetrician and gynecologist. My surgery fellowship became complementary to performing minimally invasive surgery, complex gynecology surgery and vaginal surgery.

If I could give him zero stars I would. This is a horrible doctor, he is very rude and tactless. He insulted me every appointment I had with him. If you're a plus size woman and expecting I would not recommend him he told me I should not be eating for two and that I need to lose weight during my pregnancy since I have some to lose. He's very condescending and talks to you as if you are a 3 year old that couldn't possibly understand what he's saying. He will not be delivering my baby.

I have had 2 pregnancies, first with identical twins and a single for my second. Throughout my pregnancies Dr. Mewada and his staff exhibited compassion for my babies’ health as well as my own. Dr. Mewada is not only a great doctor, but a great person. He genuinely cares about his patients. I strongly recommend Dr. Mewada for any medical services he provides.

Dr.Mewada is the most amazing OB ever! he delivered both of our daughters and both times made the entire experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, especially with this last pregnancy being during covid!
He is always there to answer any of my questions and concerns! and is also great at re assuring his patients!
He has great bedside manners and my husband really enjoys him as well!

Dr. Mewada delivered all 4 of my perfect babies, and performed a Bilateral Salpingectomy. I couldnt be more pleased with any OBGYN. I have been going to him for the last 6 years, and am sad that I wont get to see him and his wonderful staff regularly anymore due to being done with pregnancy! I will look forward to my yearly exams.

Dr. Mewada hands down the best ive seen. I had a minor out patient procedure done and he talked to me step by step on when he was touching me, what he was doing, and why. I have seen many doctors in the past who made me very uncomfortable. He did not in any way. He took his time to make sure I was aware of his every move. That is important to me and my comfort level and im sure every woman.

Does half your care while walking out the door, so your lucky if he remembers to write anything in your file.
Being highrisk means nothing to him. He will LITTERLY FORGET to send orders for ultrasound, the fact your having twins and is NEVER in the office. Hes sadly a teacher for other upcoming doctor so very disappointing how poor his work ethic is.
Go to another doctor if you want to actually be cared for.

Hands down the most amazing OB/GYN! I would recommend him to any and everyone! He helped me through both of my pregnancies, making me feel so comfortable and at ease the entire time. He was always reassuring and has a calm demeanor. He was always willing to listen to me and is extremely knowledgeable in his profession. Made my husband feel like he was a part of the pregnancy journey, unlike other OB's who made him feel like a fly on the wall. Dr. Mewada delivered both of my children. My daughter was an emergency C-section. He made sure the baby was delivered healthy in a very scary situation. He is a good, caring doctor that I trust completely.
He takes the time to explain whenever there is a health concern so that I can make an informed decision for treatment. I've never had any issues with office staff, they have been kind and responsive whenever I interact with them. I have nothing but good things to say about him and his office staff.

Dr. Mewada is the best! I went to him after my miscarriage and he helped me with my infertility journey to becoming a mother! He does ask a lot of personal questions, but he does that to be thourough. So thankful for him for sending me to the hospital at 36 weeks and inducing me, keeping me and baby healthy and out of harms way. I've never met a more caring doctor! Beyond blessed to have him deliver my baby boy!
