Carter was born and raised in the Lowcountry. He has over 8 years of experience in repairing and maintaining all types of home appliances. He is familiar with the operations of all brands, he is able to pinpoint problems quickly to provide a completed repair in an efficient and timely manner. He works diligently to provide accurate diagnoses & timely repairs to get your appliances back to working order.
In his spare time, Carter enjoys computer programming, boating, and spending time with his dog Aurora. Devon Puryear joined Aurora Appliance as the Business Manager to lead the company's operations in 2019. Devon attended The University of North Carolina, Greensboro where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management with a minor in Business Administration.

You have been searching for days and finally found the perfect appliance and it's available at a local store! You call them to buy the appliance and find out you got the last one they have available. You want it installed too? That's going to be extra. What about your old appliance? They may be able to uninstall it and haul it away but that's extra too.
Manufacturers recommend periodic maintenance on most of their appliances and for good reason. We encourage following the manufacturer's recommendations, in order to keep your appliances running smoothly and efficiently. Some maintenance, such as belts, rollers, and idler pulleys, should be done every 5-7 years.
Our service charge ranges from $90 to $120, depending on brand and location. Due to the increased difficulty of removing, diagnosing, and reinstalling built-in appliances, our service charge for built-ins is an additional $60. This charge covers the cost of bringing a fully trained technician with a fully stocked mobile service shop to your home.

Carter was better than timely and efficient. Service was all I hoped for, better than expected and the refrigerator is repaired !! Purchased in 2018 and had service for it 7 times. First at 6-month interval and eventually on a monthly basis from contractors who were "authorized " to repair my appliance. Aurora / Carter are the best ! I recommend them with high praise.

Usually not the best strategy to find a repair company but typically people start searching in the "A's". So glad I did! The repairman Carter was very knowledgeable and courteous and respectful . A part had to be ordered for our brand new induction cooktop . When he returned to put the part on. He took the time to test all the eyes and then to teach me how this cooktop operates as it was different from my last . He is an assets to the company.

Kim is your first contact and she went out of her way to find the part we needed, set up the appointment in a timely manner , and to follow up with us on a number questions we had regarding the repair job. I can’t say enough about this company! Professional from the first contact until Carter left. After 6 appointments with another local company.. he diagnosed both my dryer and dishwasher issues immediately. Thank goodness some businesses still have customer service skills as I was starting to lose hope as a recent transplant to the low country🌞

We were very pleased by the professionalism and excellent service received from Aurora Appliance. We struggled to find someone who serviced Samsung appliances...until we found Aurora. Heather was very helpful in coordinating the appointment with our schedules and Carter was punctual and very knowledgeable and had our issue diagnosed quickly. He took extra care in disassembling our appliance and explained the process in detail when we had questions. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again if the need arose. Five stars, hands down.
