Manual Therapy is a treatment modality comprised of hands-on technique. The goal of manual therapy is to improve soft tissue mobility or joint range of motion, manage pain, and promote flexibility. In addition to direct treatment of injured muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints, many patients benefit from the added healing of human touch.

Have you noticed recent changes in your balance or ability to walk? Many people with gait and balance problems describe trouble walking (especially in the yard or on the beach), holding on to furniture as they walk through their home, fear of falling or episodes of falling, difficulty getting in and out of the shower, and difficulty navigating stairs.
Vestibular Rehab refers to the treatment of altered sensation of movement. You may experience this as vertigo, dizziness, a sensation of moving or spinning, and motion sensitivity/sickness just to name a few. Vestibular symptoms can be particularly disabling, impacting all areas of daily function and ability to work.

I have had the opportunity to use their services several different times. The entire staff is very accommodating in every situation. They make the therapy enjoyable as well as effective. The 1 o 1 therapy with a pdoctorste of physical therapy is as good as it gets. Jennie is so accommodating in the office. All pieces of equipment are quickly cleaned. They even get patients meeting others if they want. They are very active in fund raising in the community. It's as good as it gets.

Laurie is the BEST!
If I could give ten stars I would! After spending a month in a boot for a fractured Talus Bone in my foot, I was referred to therapy and told I still had a long road ahead. After ONE visit the change was amazing. Laurie had me walking on the beach in less than a month. I will never go to anyone else for my therapy needs. She has cared for other members of my family and we all feel the same; She is a gifted therapist.

CBPT provided the very best PT for my recovery from total knee replacement and then later for an arthroscopic surgery in the other knee. They will absolutely be my number one choice for PT at any time I have the need in the future. I looked forward to every session and the fantastic support I received from the staff. Greg and Laurie are both A+!!!!!!!

I had a total knee replacement in February and choose to do my physical therapy with Greg at CBPT. I progressed pretty quickly and owe it all to Greg and his encouragement and motivation. I am a stubborn patient but Greg pushed all the right buttons and I couldn't be happier. Laurie and Greg work very well together, which makes for a very positive and even enjoyable physical therapy experience. I highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about this group. My husband receives PT with Greg, who is always pleasant and funny and kind. Laurie is wonderful as well and Jennie in the front office is wonderful as well. I am grateful we have such a good PT group right here on the island and would not want to go anywhere else!

Carolina Beach Physical Therapy is amazing. I highly recommend them. Laurie and her team (Greg and Jenny) are awesome. My biggest problem is being almost 67, but still want to be able to do what I did at 18. Luckily for me CBPT is there to help me do just that!! I started seeing Laurie over five years ago and now Greg their water sports specialist. Thanks to them, I still get to surf about two hundred days a year!!! The last couple years Greg has helped with any physical problem, big or small. Now I'm coming back after back surgery and I'm know I'm getting the best possible treatment and therapy available. Wish I could give a lot more than five stars for this review!!! If you need any physical therapy, don't hesitate

You park 50' from their front door and you are inside getting the friendly and personal attention that matters to you. Their standards are the Chick-fil-A of physical therapy. They do it right.
