David has done several appraisals for us and is always fair and professional. The NC Mountain market can be very difficult but he knows what he's doing and works extremely hard to get things done as quickly as possible.

David was an absolute pleasure to work with. We used him to value a property that we are buying because it has sat vacant for many years. He was thorough in his assessment, and because the property is unique, included multiple additional comps. We agree with his logic, research, and methodology for evaluating properties in this area. He was very agreeable to talk to, and spent an extra thirty minutes discussing the appraisal with us. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone, and consider him part of our A team in putting this deal together.

While working for a local bank and doing business with Holt Appraising over the past 10 years, i can safely say that this is the highest quality and most respected residential appraisal company in the area.

We have a second home in Franklin that we are considering putting up for sale. As a past Real Estate Broker, I use appraisers on some occasions esp if a home is out of my area of expertise. So, contacted Mr. Holt and found out that he is the only appraiser in the Franklin NC area that offers two forms of appraisals! A full version and a restricted version. Since I was looking for a pricing range to sell our second home, I chose the less expensive restricted appraisal. We are very pleased with Mr. Holt's appraisal as he was on time as promised and very reasonable. We do highly recommend him!

I paid almost $600 for a service from this appraisal company. When I spoke to who I think was the owner not only did you say I wasn't his client he was rude and unprofessional. I'm not sure how it works in North Carolina but as the buyer of a home who paid approximately $600 for an appraisal I would expect be treated with some respect and professionalism. This man was rude disrespectful and made it a point to say he did not work for me. he obviously does not have the intelligence to understand the person that pays for the. I hope nobody ever uses this company they are horrific.
