An awning window is made with hinges at the top and can swing outward (the opposite of casement windows). This design creates the appearance of an awning from the outside, hence the name. Awning windows are great as smaller windows usually located higher on walls or above other windows. They open using either a crank or by easily pushing the bottom out.
Bay and bow windows are large windows primarily used for living rooms, bedrooms or dining rooms. A bay window is made up particularly of one large window, flanked by two smaller windows forming an outward curve. Bow windows are also similar but consist of more than three windows. You can choose the style of individual window panes and their method of operation.

I ordered 12 windows, a new sliding patio door and a half moon glass replacement for my home. I contacted four companies. I selected Ultimate Home Solutions to do the work for me because of their professionalism, the product, the demo in their showroom and the presentation at my home. Three companies did not offer to replace my half moon window and told me to go to a glass company, but Ultimate Home Solutions had no problem replacing it for me. Ultimate replaced the cedar siding on our home with LP Smart Side. A significant amount of work was done in a timely fashion. The installers (Artur and Mitch) were amazing, developing solutions to some of our problem areas in addition to installing the product. We are thrilled with the finished product.

After spending $30,000 on my roof replacement in April I was left with holes large enough for animals to crawl through and enter my soffits. Problem has not been completely resolved as of October. Having used this company previously I am very disappointed in the treatment that I have recently received, therefore I personally would not recommend them.
