Soapy's Carwash

Very poor wash experience. Equipment is old and not all of it was working. For example, most of the spinning scrubbers do not spin. Little soap. Air dryers not working at all. Dirt streaks left on rocker panels and bumper. Long wait in line for basically no wash at all. Avoid at all costs

Professional services. Very polite employee's. Price is great for the service you receive. I go there weekly and waiting for them to get their computer's so I can purchase the yearly plan.

Usually Soapy’s does a good job washing my sedan, from front to back , inside and outside. Today management says no to cleaning of the car trunk . Have done it before here many times as a part of the service Soapy’s provide….So Soapy’s increased its prices with less service given . Didn’t know the trunk was not apart of the car….and it’s only a mat liner inside my trunk. I’m sure management could say , No trunk clean, unless emptied prior to Wash. But no explanation given by attendant . Customers do take so much and no more .

Price was little high for the cleaning you get . My vents was dirty still . There was still dirty areas that I had to clean after leaving . Wasn't what I expected. and on top of that. My sub music set up was broken. Not even. Sorry. I had to pay 200 out of pocket the very next day to have part fixed. After breaking a 900 dollar sub set up and not cleaning well. I believe a refund should be due. But why waste my breath. Not happy or satisfied. Reason why I give two stars is bc there shop is Clean and 3 out of 4 people I spoke with was nice. I arrive over an hour before closing time. I see one single car in the detail cleaning area and two employees. I ask to get my car cleaned inside and outside and I was told they’re not doing anymore inside detailing because they don’t have enough staff. Seriously? I drive a small vehicle and it takes one person to detail the inside. It’s no wonder their competitor up the road had all the business and they had none. Lazzzyyyy!

Wash was good but vacuum area is a nightmare! Signs explaining the vacuum
is lame.. buttons turning system are broke...suction was not good, if someone else is using a vacuum near you your power is reduced...I had to move 3xs to get my car finished..system kept turning off and would not turn back on.

I’ve been using this company for years & never had an issue until Feb 5th. While driving with my husband through the washer we felt a tremor. When we went to the section for them to dry the van the employee brought something to our attention. Turns out that the tremor we felt was due to their equipment ripping out the front lower grille on our vehicle which started exposing some wires (pics will be attached). The employee told me he was going inside to inform his manager & he came back outside WITHOUT this manager & instead brought a cellphone to take pics. He pushed the grille and wires back

I went to get my car wash at this place where I have gone many times before as Soapy's Car Wash. I was surprised to find out this is not
Soapys now it's called Top Shelf Car Wash.
My experience so far has not been good in any way. On Wednesday, April 21, 2021, I got my car washed. My car got stuck inside the car wash tunnel. It kept going back and forth and not being able to get to the next step. At this point, I felt scared not knowing what I was going to do since there is no one there to help me while you are inside the car wash machine.
I finally had to very quickly get my car

Horrible experience.. My car got stuck inside the car wash and it mess my fender. This is no longer Soapy's it's called Top Shelf Car wash. This happened on April 21 and they told me they would call me by Friday.. NO ONE did!!
Finally I had to call. They said they are ordering clips to fix my car. At this point I am no longer comfortable with someone that works at a car wash location to fix my car. I will be taking it to the dealer to get an estimate and asking them to give the money to get this fixed if not I will be taking them to small claims court.

I paid for the most expensive wash. It came $18 and change. The car was cleaned well but id like to vacumn the interior for this price. I've yet to be able to do that at this Carwash. Vacumns are always broken. Another problem at this facility I've noticed, but I don't think the facility causes. Is cars being washed have some problem mechanically or with the wash equipment. It causes a delay and god forbid you don't find yourself, stuck inside the wash because of another cars problem. I've decided not to go to this wash any longer. I don't feel

Asked prep guy to get my wheels really good, he said no problem that’s my job and I even tipped him good and he didn’t even spray any wheel cleaner on them. Totally unexceptionable. Nobody waiting inline behind me either. And that was my whole purpose for coming in. I’m handicapped and now I gotta go home and do it myself 🤦🏻‍♂️

Worse car wash ever. The people are nice but the car wash leaves you car covered in soap. When you complain they seem not to care. I will travel farther next time.

I was told the process should take about twenty minutes. I have been here for two hours and my car is still not cleaned. Overall the car was very clean and the quality was good however, the wait is horrible. I'm not sure how they could continue operations with only three people cleaning cars and multiple new car washes opening up in the areas.

Very disappointed with the level of service and sense of urgency. The detail staff operated with no direction and in complete chaos. For a perfect day there were only 4 people working that area. From start to finish, 90 minutes. I will say the quality of work was acceptable, and the manager took care of my concern when I expressed my displeasure. I would caution anyone that is limited on time to pass on the detailing.

Had plenty of items stolen from my car. When I brought the missing items to their attention they mention that they couldn't check the cameras and that I would need to contact the manager when he gets in the next working day.

I paid for their best exterior wash (Whale wash $18) and non of the wax or element shield worked. The people wiping the car dry at the end missed half the car and smeared the windshields. I do not recommend this carwash.

Wash was ok, but attendant did not move mirrors and they slammed closed during wash. The hand dry done well, but one of my small, adjustable mirrors which I had put on is now loose and floppy. Had not noticed it before, but can't prove anything. The vacuums for self clean were not good. I tried one set and virtually no vacuum at all. Moved car to another and there was some, but weak. Others trying to clean their cars were complaining about them, also. One guy said to me that they ought to close this location because it is the worst one in the chain.

For only $27 they cleaned outside AND inside of my truck!! Did an amazing job. Was fast and cheap! Definitely will go back. Don't forget to leave them a tip!!

I have been going to Soapys ever since it opened many years ago but yesterday was my first bad experience. i was there at 1:43 and was 3rd in line.I watched 2 employees at the first station and it appeared one was directing the other in what to do with the pressure hose and they sprayed the side of the car on the left one spray at the windshield and moved the car thru never going around doing the other side of the car. The next car he asked to see a receipt and the man showed it to him and he got along handled brush and did the two wheels on that side never going around to do the other two and

This Soapy's Car Wash in West Marion County is the worst car wash in Ocala the manager mr. Gonzalez is very unprofessional he will curse at the employees in front of customers I would not recommend going to that facility save your money and go somewhere else very unprofessional the manager is

Turned us away right at closing time! Sun shining and plenty of people around to do a quick wash.

They were great. Didn't miss a spot. They also got it done in a timely manner. Everyone was nice as well. I would go back again.

Terrible product. Finished and the car was almost dirtier than when I brought it in. They used the same rags to wipe my car from several infront of it. Left streaks and spotting all over the exterior and the in dash screen had to be cleaned at home as it was almost impossible to see through the grime. Third time in 3 years this has happened to me at this location. I'm done with these people.

I had a very young similar problem as Lisa S. The truck in front of us got stuck at the end and our car got pulled into it, slightly damaging our bumper. They claimed their equipment was working fine and that I'd have to work it out with my insurance co. I definitely don't want, nor should I have to, file a claim for this company's problem. There was no one stationed at the end of the tunnel to tell drivers when to drive out, nor was there a shutoff on their equipment to stop the conveyor when a vehicle becomes stuck. I'm warning friends and neighbors to avoid this place.

Well, my car (Land Rover 2003) was involved in an accident while on their property in their washing bay. Seems the car in front of hubby was on the automatic moving machine and his tire got hung up. He decided to remove his car from neutral (Not allowed) and drive it on his own. He didn't know how fast/slow to keep up. The staff wasn't paying attention... Idk but the suds came on and next thing you know, our car which was on the automatic machine smashed into the back of this guy... Ugh. Duh! Dude comes out yelling at employee to stop pushing buttons. I am left with ding in my Land Rover
