At DeSoto EyeCare, we strive to provide comprehensive, primary eye care for the whole family. Preventative and routine eye exams are important to maintaining good eye health. Often, eye and vision problems do not have obvious symptoms or signs, but are easily diagnosed by an Ophthalmologist. By diagnosing eye and vision conditions early on, our Doctors are able provide treatment options and in many cases restore or prevent vision loss.
A cataract is a clouding of the eye's lens. If your vision has become blurry, cloudy or dim, or things you see are not as bright or colorful as they used to be, a cataract may have developed in one or both of your eyes. Many people say that their vision with cataracts is similar to the effect of looking through a dirty car windshield.

If I could give a zero I would. Went in with my mom today and the lady that was sitting at the desk after she picked out her frames had a nasty attitude. I literally saw her mean mug my mom while she was trying on the glasses and then rolled her eyes when she had to go in the back to ask a question about the glasses. Like if hate your job that bad then quit! No one is forcing you to work there. You work in customer service. Learn better customer service skills all around the office. Don't go here. Look else where in olive branch. Won't be back.

Walked in WITH my script in hand to order glasses. I was told by the front desk that there was one client before me. While I waited I selected my frames, was acknowledged by the tech working in frames, then sat down to avoid intruding on the other clients privacy while they dealt with their order. Needless to say I was skipped over and when I alerted the front desk of this no I'm sorry no apology they got up and called the person working in frames over. I then got to hear that person state I should have waited over in the eye glass area. I had already spoken with this person while looking

I'll give 4 stars solely because Dr. Michael Wertheimer freakin rocks! He's very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. One negative is waiting room chairs directly by front desk. Everybody and their dang cousin hears all your personal info, from address to how much you owe. Southaven location def more private and professional. And yes, there's usually at least a 45 min wait , so go prepared.....

They got my prescription for glasses so wrong it was laughable. The staff isn't very helpful, I had a long wait and after six months I got a bill. My insurance company pays the full amount. I have never received a bill from this office and now they are telling me I'm 120 days late. I will not go there again.
