Because the service needs of our senior clients vary so much, we offer a variety of care options. The main services are our Companion Service and our Licensed Service. In addition, we offer specialized services such as Respite Service to provide a break for a family caregivers and Day Surgery Support Services for people who need short-term assistance following an outpatient procedure.
Our office is centrally located in Queensbury, New York, allowing us to easily provide home care services to residents in Warren, Washington, and northern Saratoga Counties. Our clients live in many towns throughout the region including Lake George, Queensbury, Glens Falls, South Glens Falls, Moreau, Hudson Falls, Gansevoort, North Creek, Fort Edward, Granville, Whitehall, Argyle, Salem, Greenwich, and more.
When we receive a service inquiry, our first step is to get some general background information about the potential client. Once we have a general idea of the situation, we schedule a free home care assessment. During this meeting, we will discuss the potential client's lifestyle, medical conditions, and physical and cognitive needs.

I have been employed with Neighbors NY for about the last 9 years of the 25 that I have been involved in direct care and their dedication to customer satisfaction is unmatched by any other area home care provider. Pairing each clients unique needs with a caregivers unique skills is a real priority, not just assigning warm bodies to shifts. They take feedback from people who use their service and the people in the field providing services seriously. This is the worst agency ever. They are unreliable and irresponsible. They have left my aunt in bed for days and not do anything to resolve the issue. We have called and complained and they have not done anything to resolve the issue. Their workers do not want to work and are abusive. They also have instructed their attendants not to help my aunt from the bed.

The folks here are wonderful! We never could have been able to keep my dad at home for as long as we did. They are very caring, compassionate people and we felt at ease with the care they provided to him. They responded well and quickly - very reliable. My parents live part of the year in Florida and part of the year in Lake George, NY. We use Home Healthcare Services in both places to take care of them. We have had to switch agencies in Florida four times due to issues with the caregivers. Not so with Neighbors NY. We have used them continuously for four years and are so thankful we found them. I have learned that there are many things to consider when hiring an agency to take care of your loved ones. DO NOT USE NEIGHBORS NY. My mother has been using this service with my grandmother for the last few months. They are unreliable and do not properly screen their employees. My grandmother has had over $600 in cash stolen from her house as well as property. My mother has cameras as you enter and leave my grandmothers house and we have video proof of a person stealing from her, and the company is "discontinuing care because it is in their best interest".
