The primer seals in tannins, grease, smoke stains, and other impurities to ensure that they don't bleed through the fresh coat of paint. Primers both seal the surface and help paint bond to it, making the finished product much more attractive. We start by determining the condition of the existing paint coat, and if it is soundly adhered and not chalking out, you can probably use just one to two coats of good quality product.

5 months after signing the estimate, they still have not completed scope of work for which I paid. Argumentative about scope of work in their own quote, MESSY, and poor craftsmanship. I had to repeatedly have paint spills cleaned up, have raw material swapped for finished material, and not at all timely! After several weeks of ducking my and my husband’s calls, it devolved into them name calling and accusing me of wanting something for free even though it was in black and white on the quote and text message.

The walls are not smooth. They used a matte finish paint throughout the house to hide the blemishes in the walls. I asked about this and the supervisor said "You can't make a wall smooth". I was married to a painting contractor for 21 years and I know that you can make ANY wall smooth. They are overpriced and under-qualified. They stained kitchen cabinets without covering the brand new counters and stove, what a mess.
