Services
A modest beginning in 1991, Acculab, Inc. has grown substantially during the past several years. We proudly serve the water quality collection and reporting needs of the Southern West Virginia Coalfields for a variety of commercial, industrial and mining clients who hold an NPDES Permit. Acculab, Inc. is an environmental water quality service laboratory.
We strive to provide an extensive range of the technical and environmental services you expect, with the quality you deserve. Acculab performs routine collection, analysis and reporting for both Article III and NPDES Permits. In addition to these services our company conducts both pre-mining PHC and BWQ studies, and for Phase Release of the Article III Permits for post mining conditions as well.
Biologist Lee Prince is teaching some of the local Boy Scouts troops how to gather samples from a stream. Acculab Inc. has a history of community involvement, we are giving back to our community where we live and work. Acculab, Inc. is a proud sponsor of several local conservation groups associated with the National Wildlife Turkey Foundation and Ducks Unlimited.

Acculab worked for over a decade to assist the State of West Virginia's DEP to build a biological and water quality database. This data spanned locations from the northern tip to the southernmost town in the state, and included a collection of over 230 trend sites in creeks, rivers and tributaries throughout our beautiful state.

Friendly, knowledgeable technicians, professional, fully accredited lab with ICP and graphite analysis of all metals, oil and grease, fecal, chloride, etc. etc. Biology dept second to none with fully certified taxonomist and biologist with multiple advanced degrees in biology as well as chemistry. A top notch laboratory!
