my appointment was confirmed. Was not able to reconfirm appointment while I was at work (I’m a driver) so they canceled my appointment without letting me know until I called 2.5 hours before my appointment. They did not offer to reschedule either. Save your time go somewhere else.

All they care about is money, doctor was so fast to take me to the cashier.. I literally felt that hunger.. they bombard you with the bills which you never heard before.. I thought to change the physician and ended up checking this place and never went back.. I still wonder how they got these ratings.. cross check your bills don’t blindly pay off

The doctor only cares about money, no wonder he is open on weekends to squeeze every last dollar out from unsuspecting patients. He saw me for literally 5 mins and did not event bother to do a thorough evaluation of my neck. He said he would be worried if my symptoms are life threatening, otherwise even if it affects my quality of living, he did not care, basically he had zero empathy. He gave me a list of ENT hospitals where I can get myself enrolled as a patient but I could have easily done that from my home by just searching on my Insurance Company's website. Don't come he only cares about money and not your health or you. Been here 5 separate times and each time he barely spent 5 mins with me. Never answers my questions and doesn't listen to what im saying either. He literally asked me the same question 6 times. wasted so much time and money here and kept telling me to lose weight or don't eat as if that would solve my problem. Told me not having a period for months is normal. He literally doesn't have a clue what he's doing. Probably googled all his answers in school.

My first experience here was great no issues, then I returned for another visit in the middle of summer of 2021, the ladies at the front desk seemed a little more concerned about their conversation then checking me In and being attentive, but it was tolerable. I returned for another appointment today 10/28/21, went in said hello first, again same ladies at the front desk, of course they were caught in their own conversation, then proceeded to tell me I need to email again my insurance info…. Which was confusing to me because I was just there a few months ago and was told my insurance was on file

They have the friendliest staff I've encountered. The doctor tells it to you straight and has educational handouts.
I arrived 35mins early for my first appointment and was seen right away.
The doctor's nutritional advice was very helpful. His rant against the food pyramid is industry lobbyist was funny.
Drove 30mins just to see this doctor and clinic due to the positive reviews and extended hours

Very caring staff and very personable. Dr. Hoyumpa’s experience shows in the way he listens and advises his patients. Asking questions twice and make sure the patient is comfortable in knowing they are there to get help, not just be prescribed and/or diagnosed.....

Side note, if Terrance is your nurse then be ready to laugh the whole time you are there. The clinic staff was amazing and welcoming, made me feel like I was a kid at the pediatric clinic again. Definitely my new PCP.

My first visit with Dr. Hoyumpa’s office was the best I think I’ve ever had! All the staff was extremely welcoming, friendly, and really made me feel comfortable. I was early to my appointment so I expected a wait but they took me back nearly immediately which was great. My appointment was at 10:20 and Dr. Hoyumpa walked in the room at 10:19. This has been unheard of in my past. He listened to my concerns and I really felt like he cared. He gave great feedback and also gave me additional resources for some other issues I was having which no other doctor has done. Still pending some test results

I was very impressed with my visit with Dr. Hoyumpa. His bedside manner is warm and friendly, and he is extremely personable. Dr. Hoyumpa took the time and initiative to ask me about my medical history and provided new suggestions I had not considered before. The nurses and rest of the staff are exceptional and make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I was seen within 5 minutes of walking in for my appointment.

Really wonderful experience as a first time patient at this clinic. It was very easy to book an appointment online, all of the staff were incredibly friendly and personable, and Dr. Hoyumpa was wonderful. I was in and out quickly but I did not feel rushed out the door. I'm definitely looking forward to developing a long term relationship with this practice.

Dr. Hoyumpa treats my parents and my sister, he is wonderful! We all love him so much. However, the reason for the low rating is his staff. His receptionist , she may have been new, did not conduct herself professionally while talking with my sister. It took my mother calling to correct the receptionist's actions for the issue to be resolved. Recently, my father who known to the doctor for having upper respiratory issues due to allergies, scheduled an appointment. At his pre-screen phone call, he detailed his symptoms and immediately the receptionist and the nurse instructed my father to take

After reading all of the excellent reviews that this practice got I decided to give them a try and boy were they right! I made an appointment for my husband who had shingles- he was a new patient there and they got him in that same day. Unfortunately, I was not able to go in with him so I sat in the car. Nancy,,who worked at the front desk ,was so nice -she came out to my car and offered me some water and told me my husband will be out in a few minutes. The doctor was very knowledgeable and spent a long time with my husband. I highly recommend them and we definitely will be going back there

This is the best doctor I have found in San Antonio. He has helped everyone in my family and some of my friends. He really cares and has a great deal of knowledge that he shares. I've never had a doctor who was so interested in each person. If you don't need medicine, he gives you advice on how to improve your health or your condition.

Really happy with my experience here! I was having trouble finding a PCP and an appointment time that fits my school schedule since moving to San Antonio. However, I am very glad I stumbled upon this clinic! You can make an appointment online, which is great, and the times range from 10 am to 8 pm instead of the traditional 8-5. You can fill out forms ahead of time online. When I arrived, they took me back to see the doctor so fast that I hadn't even filled out the additional paperwork yet. Dr. Hoyumpa was extremely prompt and polite, and his staff were all friendly. It's a small clinic in a convenient location, so it was an easy in-and-out. Their hours are really accommodating if you have to work a typical schedule - 10AM to 8PM M-Sa. My visit today was for an easy issue, but I'll gladly go back the next time something comes up.

This clinic took me in to get looked at so quickly that I didn't have time to finish filling out the paperwork! The doctor is very knowledgeable and took the time to listen to my health history to try to pinpoint what could be done for me in the state I was in. I was very impressed with Dr. Hoyumpa. Appointment-making was easily accomplished using their online scheduler. His staff are quite courteous and efficient. Regarding Dr. Hoyumpa, he was very thorough and addressed all my concerns in a caring manner.

This place will raise your standards when it comes to seeing a doctor for whatever reason.
I was seen by the doctor in 10 mins, my entire visit was less than 30 mins in and out for a physical and few shots. Needed them to release my medical records to another clinic over the phone(which I heard could take some places weeks) but Texas family Clinic had my records faxed in 5 mins.
You won't go to any other doctors office if you come here one time.

My Dr. Is Absolutely Amazing!...I felt like a person and not a number. It has been my unfortunate experience with Dr.'s who seem to lose compassion, or basically their straight up humanity. You will not find this here. From the moment I walked in the door I immediately knew I'd made the correct health care decision. Thank You Again.
