The story of Avanti Interior Design of Columbia SC begins with Guy Sullivan, whose passion for design began in art classes at Columbia's Cardinal Newman High School. After graduation, he began his career in the quintessential 1970s setting: a waterbed store. His company manufactured the beds, and began selling other furnishings to gain incremental sales.
They sold high end, modern architectural lines were new for Columbia at the time. As the market grew, Guy worked to expand his design knowledge to more effectively sell the product and service the client. So, with a combination of university extension art and design courses, voracious reading, and learning by doing - both at the drawing board and on the showroom floor - a design expert emerged.

I’m not sure where to even start with this recommendation as Avanti Interior Design is so AMAZING on so many different levels. I began with a remodel of 3 business suites (pizza place, hair salon, vacant space) into 1. I hired Guy to design my medical aesthetics office and surgery suite. From the word “go”, Guy and Rachelle had the project on lock down. He redesigned my floor plan to ensure functionality from all angles. He acts like a project manager keeping construction moving at all times - communicating with my contractor throughout the entire project - sending paint schedules, cabinet
