Many years ago, Tim Ryan was the therapist who attended me in my teen years as I was working through intense trauma. After a number of sessions, he insisted to my mother that the only way of my truly working through my trauma would be to hold me on the ground and force me to recall it. I was pinned to the ground by Tim Ryan as my mother nervously participated in this experiment thinking it would make me better. 25 years later, I’m still processing the trauma of what he did to me under the guise of helping me.
