I had received a cancellation notice and called to see why since I was on auto-pay. Chelsea took the call and we discovered that my max payment was a little shy of the increased pricing. She helped me update all current info set up payment to hopefully keep this from happening again. She was a great joy to work with and extremely helpful. We had a good time.

Great customer service from their office people, but terrible service from the drivers, they find any excuse to not pickup our garbage, even though we allow them to use our private driveway to blackout, one time my garbage was not picked up because a guest parked in MY driveway, they did pick up my nieghbors garbage which is ace on opposite side of road but not mine. This has been an ongoing thing for a couple years now, each week its like will my garbage be picked up or not? Because I never know.

Your employee, Chelsea, arranged for a dumpster to be delivered to my home, to serve as a container for a cleanup of an apartment. She was very professional, explained everything to me, and was very responsive to my questions. You need to retain employees like her, so I recommend a generous raise and a few extra days of vacation. Thank Chelsea for me for the excellent service.

I am so consistently disappointed by Yakima’s only curbside recycling vendor. The city really needs to find someone new to contract with. I have had to call 4 times in the last 6 months because my curbside recycling is not picked up. Often they have no explanation or they insist the driver “said it wasn’t out” when it absolutely was all day. Sometimes there only excuse us “oh sometimes if they look down a street and don’t see any carts they don’t drive down it”. Today I called because my cart was missed and they said they’d pick it up sometime in the next 3 days. Overall just

I found out recently that you are charged extra fees called "box/bag/res fee" if your lid is propped open by even a centimeter. Do you, as a customer, find that to be an acceptable policy? Personally, I do not. Would you be happy having to provide explicit directions on where your waste bin is located, halfway in the road on a street that only has 3 locations to service within that entire block? Because if you do not do that, there is a good chance the driver will pass your can that would be impossible to miss unless you were blind in one eye and can't see out of the other. We have been using Yakima Waste Systems for our trash, recycling, and yard waste since we moved from Spokane to Yakima in late July 2020. The monthly bill is about $61, and we have had RECURRING issues with their trash and recycling service in the time we have been here. One morning we didn't get the trash can out early enough, so that was our bad. However, given that we have only lived here 6 months, it is unacceptable that we have had 4 missed trash pickups, and 3 missed recycling pickups.
