Hurricane Matthew devastated parts of the Carolina's. Swing Transport in an effort to do our part has donated transportation to aid in the recovery. Two of Swing's Disaster Relief Units will deliver much needed food, bottled water, clothing, etc to Grifton Mission Ministries in Grifton, NC tomorrow.
Items will be distributed to over 300 families from there. The collection drive was planned by Operation North State and held at Tilley Harley Davidson in Salisbury, NC. Swing Transport is proud to be a small part of the operation. Swing Transport employs a full-time Director of Safety to administer our safety program. Our Director is certified thru The North American Transportation Management Institute( NATMI ) and Embrey-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is also a past Chairman of the North Carolina Safety Council. Most importantly, our Director is a long time employee who has worked his way through the ranks.
Swing Transport, Inc. operates 2 warehouses that are located in Salisbury, NC midway between Charlotte and Greensboro. Warehouses are about one mile off Interstate 85 and within 30 miles of Interstates 40 and 77. These corridors provide you and your customers with quick and easy access. One facility is 100,000 square feet and the other is 62,500 square feet.

Who ever (looks like an heavy set white woman) is driving truck 18485 on sep 29th. @ 2:20pm driving through Alabama on US-72 heading east, almost ran into the back of my car and almost ran me off the road, clearly having a episode of road rage. Very reckless driver. I have my whole family in the car. If I’m going 75mph, there’s no reason a truck of such size should be running up behind me and passing as close as possible. The driver was going at least 90mph. VERY RECKLESS!!!!!!!! You’re not in a car, you shouldn’t be weaving in and out of traffic.
