A board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Jeffrey Case has been practicing dermatology in the Paducah area since 1988. Specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, he is an expert in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and was the first to offer this highly effective and innovative skin cancer procedure in the Paducah area.

Certain types of skin cancers are highly aggressive, difficult to treat and cannot be removed by freezing or a simple excision. For these situations we move forward with a more comprehensive, specialized care called Mohs Micrographic Surgery. This is a highly effective technique developed by Dr. Frederich Mohs that allows for the removal of all cancer in an affected area with minimal damage to surrounding healthy skin.

I had a small and very painful deep tissue lipoma removed from my lower back under local anaesthetic at the clinic in September 2021, at a cost of £550 all in and in my view this was a very reasonable price.

I had my stretched ear lobes reconstructed by Mr Andrew Williams back in December 2020 and whilst he was doing the left lobe, he seemed a bit unsure about something, like he wasn’t happy with it. I asked Mr Andrew Williams what the matter was but he just shrugged it off. Only after removing the bandages about ten days later I noticed my ears weren’t symmetrical. I attended for excision of a rather nasty basal cell carcinoma on my right cheek in Jan-21, having decided to go privately for the treatment rather than wait for the NHS. I recently had a 6cm lipoma removed from my upper arm and the service I received at the clinic was excellent. I have never had a surgical procedure before and although I am a veterinary surgeon myself, I was still a little anxious. However I need not have been concerned; my surgeon and nurse were genuinely outstanding - everything was explained clearly and I felt relaxed and well cared for. He explained everything before during and after the procedure and made me feel safe and at ease. He also did his utmost to minimise scarring and I am delighted with the results. I was so impressed with the Skin Surgery Clinic! I had two large moles removed last year and the team were brilliant, very professional and made you feel relaxed. Andrew Smith was great, explained everything so I knew what to expect during the mole removal.
I wanted to have the moles removed for a long time but was nervous about the procedure to remove them.The moles were both on my face, so understandably I had concerns about how these would heal, however the results have been amazing, much better than I expected. There is a small mark where the moles were but it is not noticeable.

I suspected I had a wart next to my eye for many years now resulting in a lot of insecurity. I decided it was a good time to remove it and booked the skin surgery clinic and I am so so happy with the results! The clinic is clean and incredibly professional.
