Service Calls from 8 A.M. until 5 P.M. Monday - Saturday, Sunday 8 A.M. - 2 P.M. Evenings and after hours at no additional charge! Very often when your garage door opener is not functioning properly it can be repaired. Diagnosing and repairing your existing motor may be a less expensive option than replacing the unit.

I didn't have my coffee this morning and tried to back out of my garage before opening the door. The door was bent, and would no longer stay in the rails. Precision Door Service sent someone over to look at the door within an hour of calling them. They offered to try to fix my existing door rather than replace it if I would have preferred that. The offer was much appreciated but I'd already decided to replace it. I just needed a builder-grade door (nothing special), and they happened to have one in their warehouse of the right size and color. They installed the replacement door that same day--which

Steve and his guys installed garage doors on my 2-stall horse barn that I'm converting to use as a second garage. It was an unusual install that required a some very creative problem solving to accomplish. In addition to the custom nature of the job, I'm EXTREMELY particular, and I ask a LOT of questions. I know that can be a challenge for some contractors. Not for Precision though!
The owner Steve was extremely patient with every one of my concerns from start to finish. He was attentive to both the functional and aesthetic details. He even made the suggestion that they use some old fencing boards

My 25 year old garage door lifter was beginning to create reliability issues so I called Precision Door Service to request replacement options. A technician was scheduled and arrived as promised. I especially like the confirmation text sent as the tech was traveling to my home. A choice of several lifters was offered at various price levels, with easy to understand explanations. I chose a lifter and was pleased to learn the unit was on the truck, so the technician was able to install a new lifter in just over an hour without need for another appointment. Disappointed...three weeks ago I had this company fix my garage door because it was off track. They responded the next day and the tech
suggested that I also have the rollers replaced which I agreed. The total including the service call was $241.00.
Today a flag pole fell in the track unbeknownst to me and of course the door went off track so I called the company to fix it. The total was $135.00 for the service call with no parts replaced.
I understand that a business has to make a profit to stay open but I was hoping for a discount and it did not happen.
By the way, a big sticker was placed

Prompt and professional service! Can't recommend enough! When our garage door bit the dust on a Sunday, we had no idea we could've called Precision at the time and not have paid an arm and a leg. I called Monday afternoon and they had someone at my house promptly on time the next day as promised. Upon looking at the damage, he advised that while we could try to repair it, he would recommend replacement. The rates quoted were very reasonable and we were able to pay it in two payments. Contracted with Precision Door Service of Lexington based on Angie's List reviews and the reviews on Precision's website. I assumed based on these reviews that they would do a quality job at a competitive price. Prior to arranging for Precision to do the work I obtained quotes from 3 local competitors to replace my garage door springs with quality long life replacement springs. Working with Precision Garage Door was great! Steve came out twice to give us quotes - once when we thought we would get one large garage door and again when we decided to keep the garage with two single car garage doors. Both times he came out quickly and was very professional.
